Congratulations flutter, I love the name lenny. Hope all is going well.

Just sorted out Baby's clothes into piles based on age, he has lots of 3-6, a bit in -3 but not much in New born or first size, but enought to see us through the first day or two so we can see how big he is and then buy more of whatever size he needs.

Not quite feeling myself today or last night, hopefully will snap back into my normal cheery self by the time by poor oh gets in from work. I think it's just nerves creeping in about labour and also the thought of suddenly being responsible for a little person. Going to have a nice lazy day today.

Hope everyone else a doing well.x

    Thanks all.

We have had a good first 24hrs. Still in hospital but hopefully allowed home by end of today. He is breastfeeding well. I have been absolutely ravenous since having him! Eaten lots n lots. Caught up a bit on sleep, OH stated til midnight last night, he ordered me in bed to sleep for 2hrs which was bliss. Woken up for meds at half1, fed him. He woke at 5 for feed, and then half 8.

Last night my parents and OH'S mum came to meet him. OH'S kids will meet him tonight.

Glad he is eating well flutter and the breastfeeding is going well! Breastfeeding burns lots of calories so you can eat lots of cake ;)

Think it might be something in the air thinkpink I'm not in a good mood today.

I was all happy and relaxed after yoga last night but slept really badly. Then got woken up by a cat or something fighting outside. Then needed a wee. Just as I got.comfortable the first alarm went off and DH thought he'd be nice and cuddle me but just ended up squishing me :(

Just me- I got woken up by someone's car alarm going off early hours, was not happy!!

Feeling a bit better now, just about to get my hair cut so that should help my mood. Did have a cry earlier, which is unlike me, definitely think it's hormones and nerves setting in.
  • Having a lazy day too. Got the floors mopped and swept early, finished off some soaps i was making last night (getting loads of time to do lovely crafty things now!!), going to make a big bolognaise in a minute for lunch and to freeze a few lots down for lazy dinners when I want them and then vegging out this afternoon. Got a load of books I need to read and review before their release and I want to get a few more Christmas presents ordered online. So plan to do nothing else this afternoon :)

Think Pink. Having your hair done will make you nice and relaxed and more human again. I had my colour and cut done the other day for the first time in ages and felt great afterwards.

  • My OH is feeling quite achey today - but tried doing a bit of exercise. I've been tiling the splashback in the kitchen. My first go at tiling and it's gone quite well, looks neat. Going to grout this afternoon.

Had to pop it into attic to replace a valve on the cold water tank as it was dripping and overflowing out onto the new extension floor!

Bricklayers came back to carry on yesterday however I think they've made the pillars either side of the doors too narrow - they needed to increase them by a brick length and they've only done 1/2 a brick. Will need to check that with builders - maybe they spoke to inspector later on and that was ok - but better check. Don't want another major delay when the windows turn up and are too small for the gap they've left!

Honestly you've got to keep on top of these people constantly - never ever ever assume that they know what they're doing!

Hair cut and looking much better. I know most people love how thick and good their hair looks during pregnancy but mine is very very thick before pregnancy so had been really hard to manage, so I've gone a bit shorter and more layers, on the hope that this will also last me a while as I won't be able to go for a while now!!

Hope you sort out the issue with the brick layers Freddie.

About the only thing I managed today was laying on a massage couch for two hours, coming home to eat, sleep and eat again......oh I did manage to pay the credit card bill I guess!

Oh I lied, I swept the kitchen floor, hurrah, today wasn't a total waste.

39+4 now and very day it's like 'will it be today?!'

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D
