I'm sure it will be ok, we have a 24 week appointment here rather than 25 weeks anyway (where I am we have booking in around 8 weeks, scan at 12, midwife at 16 weeks then scan at 20, gp at 24, midwife at 28, gp at 31 then I think it's every couple of weeks with the midwife until the end).

I can't remember what time my appointment is tomorrow, they usually send a text reminder, but typically on the one occasion I can't remember the time they haven't sent me a text. I think it's 10.20 but will ring first thing to double check as I'm now doubting that and thinking it's at 10am!!

    Hope you are ok Tata.

Sorry you're not feeling great Tata.

OH has low blood pressure - come out low each appointment since booking in when it was normal level. Snes also getting dizzy quite a lot.

Today she's got flu like symptoms, feeling achey, was very hot overnight but cooled off now. Keeping an eye on her and making sure she's resting. Seems brighter now than earlier.

Psycho a lot of OHs appointments haven't been on the exact weeks. I don't think it matters greatly as long as they're around the right times. Her 24 week was actually end of week 23. Her 28 week was week 27 and her next one won't be til week 32.

  • Thanks guys, I'll go anyway... Need to mention my almost daily headaches and also a very annoying pain inside my right leg, worse when I've been sitting or sleeping and then get up to move. Hoping its just an overstretch at Aqua yoga :(

  • My BP has been low sine the start too. Seems to get lower each time. 92/50 at the last appointment. Which to me is scary low, I'm sure something like 120/80 is normal. But the midwife always says it's great and a good level! Never had any lightheadedness or problems with it, so trying not to worry about it.
From everything I've read it's better to be lower than higher.

At all previous appointments my bp was normal, but the midwife did comment that it was slightly low, but said that was fairly normal and its more concerning when it's higher.

Just had my text confirming by gp appointment tomorrow so that saves having to ring up on the morning.

Just been watching the f1, I think baby likes it as he has moving about quite a bit throughout the race!!!

So I've developed pre eclampsia, I'm to go back on Tuesday morning and if my blood pressure hasn't went down, we will discuss delivery. I've been ordered on bed rest till then so hopefully that will help.

So better to follow your instincts on these things!

Fingers crossed it drops back down for you. Have they said anything can help besides rest?
