Great to know it's not just me with the moles. Thanks! Always less of a worry if someone else is the same.
Sorry. Probably explained it badly, I mean you breathing funny, not him. For me it's the way she's lying that's making me feel I'm breathing quite shallow and not full breaths.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -
It's probably just baby moving into an awkward position for you. They take up a lot of room and squish your organs! I'm only 17 weeks but am convinced baby was laying right on my bladder the last few days, it was almost painful (like when you've put off going to the loo to long) and even though I felt like I needed the loo, nothing happened. They seem to have moved again now though thankfully!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

crazy-cat - absolutely all the time from very early on! certain positions I sit in the car or on the couch, I have to move to try and feel able to breath. didnt get this at all last time but last time I was unable to lie on my back at all because I would feel so squashed that I couldn't breath whereas this time I can lie on my back for short periods and not be squashed. Weird! I have a posterior placenta this time and anterior last time, not sure if it has made a difference?!0

Wonder if that's something to do with it then. Mine is trapped under her (still hoping it'll lift so I can avoid a section!). It's only happened twice the whole time and passes after I've had a wander for her to shift. Within the last week. I'm hoping it's not going to become a more regular thing. Both times I've been at my desk at work. So maybe I should avoid work!!Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -
I would definitely avoid work
No idea, I get it often but it goes when I move into a different position!

Hi ladies, hope you're well?
All good here - am 33+3 which is just bonkers - I've been in denial so far but it's really starting to hit now. Had our first NCT class last night - can't say we covered anything we didn't already cover at the NHS class a couple of weeks ago but as there's another 5 classes to go, I'm hoping we've got lots to learn in the next 3 weeks.
Having a nightmare with our kitchen replacement - have been without a sink, tap, worktops and hob now for nearly 5 weeks and it's getting very tiresome. We're putting pressure on the kitchen company to fix it but all washing up has to be done in the sink in the bathroom upstairs - thankfully hubby does the majority but it's exhausting.
We're placing our order with Mothercare today for the majority of things we need - thankfully my half sister has worked there for 30 years so she's helped us pick what's truly needed vs what they try to upsell and then we get a 20% discount too - all helps.
Were due to have new wardrobes built in the nursery but have been chasing the carpenter since April, we finally got a price out of him on Tuesday evening and I've said no - £956 for a two door wardrobe is just ludicrous. After a bit of frantic searching, we found the following which seems like a fantastic bargain, free delivery and assembly!

Looking forward to starting to get things all lined up now as we're normally very organised people but the kitchen replacement has delayed all our plans by about 3-4 weeks so we feel like we've got lots of catching up to do.
Have booked the next 3 Friday's off work as annual leave and then finish on Friday 24th June but taking half a day's leave then so I've only got 3 weeks left at work - so happy, so tired now!
I've decided, I might swap my desk chair for a toilet - I seem to spend so much time there now - my bladder must be the size of a marble given the frequency I'm going :rotfl:

crazy- ahhh that makes sense, yep the same as some of the others I struggle with breathing in certain positions (particularly lay on my back which I know you aren't supposed to do) I keep having to adjust myself to make breathing easier. Midwife said it's just my diaphragm being pushed up that's causing it.
Gelly- Sounds like you have been busy, oooh 3 weeks will go so fast.
Just got back from my 38 week appt, baby boy still head down and head is engaging, she said that he feels long (like his dad) and there is not much room left in there..no wonder I'm so uncomfortable. Back on the 90th centile, roughly 7lb 11oz. I want him here now!!!
Asked about the diahorrea and period pains, she said labour 'could be' immanent but I am not getting my hopes up!Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls
1st Baby due June 2016 :happylove0 -
33 weeks is fab Gelly!
I am 37 weeks and still in denial and don't have your history so it is completely understandable! Disappointing about your kitchen, I think not having a kitchen sink has got to be one of the most difficult things to live without in the first world! Great news about Mothercare and your discount. £965 is very expensive for wardrobes. We have got a great company doing ours who are reasonable but good quality, had them for the other rooms, about £500 for huge sliding wardrobes, drawers, shelves etc.
Skint - I have had a grumbly tummy for a few weeks which has ramped up this week with cramps too and dodgy tummy. I did wonder if it was "a sign"! Glad your appointment went well.0 -
Skint. You're almost there! So jealous. Want this little one to hurry up.
I've never been so annoyed. Well, I have, I seem to be in a constantly angry state at the moment. Bought a rocking chair for the nursery. Traditional style, all wooden, in white to match the other furniture.
It arrived and I've built it now. After two attempts. Not sworn so much in a long time. And I usually have no problems with flat pack! The instructions were not in English and the pictures didn't help. Tried to follow them. They say the last thing you have to do is put the seat on..so left it til last and it won't go. Turns out you have to do it first or it won't fit. So strip it back down and rebuild. I am now thankfully rocking in a fully built chair. But ARGH. I haven't missed wine in the last 7 months, but I do now. I suppose it's what I get for buying the "cheapy" option from eBay for £80 instead of the identical one for £360 that was in John Lewis. Seller got a very angry feedback.
And..breathe...Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -
Gelly- I'm about 8 weeks behind you but have found denial has been a good way of coping. It feels a bit more real now we've ordered the pram and cot!!
Pushchair chassis, car seat and space saver cot and mattress should be arriving tomorrow. Can't wait for it to all come. We have a box we've been putting baby bits in (like clothes etc) well it's full already!! Going to try and not buy anything else for a while!!
Oh dear, think we've just decided to rearrange our downstairs and put a study wall in between the living room and dining room, just mostly so we can get a corner sofa as we are limited on seating at the moment!! That will give me something else to shop for rather than baby bits!!0
