Great Flutter... I have to wait until much nearer my due date to find out if I can potentially have a water birth. Fingers crossed!!!!
I was told by the consultant yesterday to avoid stress as with my underactive thyroid and pcos, I am at risk of diabetes and insulin issues during pregnancy... stress could cause a diabetic coma reaction. Awesome! I did make myself laugh though by asking if I should get rid of my husband to avoid most stress! The healthcare assistant laughed but not even a smile from my consultant!

Telling you all that is hardly going to make you less stressed! Did your GTT tests not show anything up? Will they do extra ones to check for diabetes?Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120

My GTT isn't until August so have a while yetThey are keeping an eye on my thyroid but that's it for now. I guess if anything shows up in August they will do more tests... the nurse at my annual doctor surgery review told me to watch carb and sugar intake to help reduce the stress on my body but the mw or consultant haven't mentioned it.

Ah. Right. Sorry. I thought with you being in this group you'd have had it by now and been further along. My mistake. As long as they're keeping an eye on you that's good. You don't want the worry of everything you eat or drink stressing you.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120

Thank you for the sheet and blanket advice. I must add Moses basket sheets and blankets to my list as I need those of the carry cot. I think sheets for the space saver cot will be travel cot ones, then I need to work out what size blankets, I think probably pram ones.
Carry cot and car seat base came today and w missed the delivery for the chassis and car seat so hopefully that will be delivered at the weekend.
Just booked a 4d scan. Have just gone for a short 15 min one so that gives me something to look forward to!!0 -
Thanks ladies. Am very pleased she turned too. Though now I'm getting kicked in the ribs for sure! Haha
Last day was lush. I've been thoroughly spoilt with gifts, balloon and a beautiful cake. So lucky to work in this team

Weird question. I did check with good old Dr Google and many reliable pages said these things were common, but wanted to ask if anyone here has had similar before I panic or bother my real doctor for no reason.
Has anyone had their bump lying in a position (I'm guessing this is the cause) that makes them feel like they aren't breathing fully in and out. Not quite short of breath, but like they are breathing shallowly? It's only happened twice and very odd.
Also, again Google says it's normal because of melatonin levels in the skin during pregnancy, has anyone discovered any new moles or old ones getting darker? I have a tiny new one, and what was a freckle now seems to have become one too. And, I did wonder if I'd just never spotted it before. But I know my body and know it is new..and I did check if I'd dropped a spot of chocolate on myselfBook a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -
crazy- Yep, I have had a few new moles on my body along with skin tags which apparently disappear after birth.
Not really sure what you mean with the breathing though as apart from his hiccups I don't feel him breathing in and out.Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls
