Hope all goes well pigpen.

Pushchair and cot and mattress all here.now just need to work out where to store it all.

Baby had a few quiet days but he seems to be moving a bit more today. Been getting a weird pain today, not sure how to describe it, but I'm thinking it's just as things are stretching, will have to see how it goes, am taking it easy today though.

Health visitor before baby is born is a new thing. Think they found that most new mums were too overwhelmed and exhausted to take it all in otherwise. Won't see her again now until 14 days post delivery, then again at 6-8 weeks post delivery.

Found 2 evening dresses I'd forgotten I had today. Straight on eBay. The end is in sight with transforming the spare room into the nursery as well

I'm trying to mentally go through what I still need to get, have added some bits to my Amazon baby list as a reminder.

Now at the point where sofa is not comfortable, it's getting difficult to get off it. Hubby's birthday today but nothing planned, didn't get up until almost noon :eek:

I finished the ottoman and even if I do say so myself it looks brill, I'm proud of me! Once I figure out how to upload pics on MSE I will do one to show it off.

I'm knackered now. Spent few hours sitting on the floor working on ottoman so feel a bit sore now. I've caught up on lots of recorded tv though!

I was meant to go out for a meal with a friend tonight for catch up but she has cancelled. OH has finished cricket early so he will fetch a takeaway for us on his way home

Sounds like you've been busy flutter. Sounds like a quiet night in May be required too,veven if it wasn't what you had planned!!

That's a good idea jtr, I have a generic list of what I need to buy but may start an Amazon wish list so I can at least select the specific items I want.

Must resist opening up the pushchair box etc for a while!! I did peak at the carry cot the other day but that is it for now!!

HV came to see me before DD1 arrived, they offered again this time but I said thanks but no thanks, see you after the birth!

Well done flutter, I re-did an ottoman a few years back and it hides so much junk its fab!

They have locked me on the ward and won't let me leave despite the fact they are doing nothing... I am ringing the police if they don't open these doors sharpish!! I'm sure false imprisonment will look good in the local paper!!

I am absolutely furious.. I have been lied to, poked and prodded unnecessarily and they haven't done a single thing my consultant requested .. Why am I even here??

They aren't evicting this tomorrow, they've not even written up any drugs they think I'm stupid!!

I have done with the crying I am now just utterly angry.. And the inhabitant has hiccups .. I want to be at home with my girls I should be with them!!

Still not home.. Waiting for more lies... I rather like seeing what they will concoct next.. The latest is I am refusing the transfusion I have been sat waiting for all freaking day!! What I said was I wanted OH with me as he was on his way already.. That can't really be misunderstood can it??

They had had the blood and we're waiting for me for 6 HOURS before I was told and then they only told me because I was leaving... 6 hours!!!! It could have been done in that time and avoided all this distress.. They are disgusting
