crazy - awww how lovely
my dad buys teddy bears for all babies in the family, it's his tradition.
skint - I have had a dodgy tummy and very loose toilet movements the last few days, not quite diahorrea but a very urgent need to go. I'm only 32 weeks so was a bit worried at first! Don't think it was a tummy bug. It may be due to the iron tablets I'm taking.
Went to first antenatal class today and got to say I was not impressed! The MW was 15mins late, although not her fault as she was told it started half 6 not 6pm. She just briefly talked about labour and birth options plus pain relief options. Most of it was "have you heard of xyz?, it does this". She also kept saying there were really good clips of birth options/labour on internet but didn't show us any! Only good bit was getting the number of a MW who does free hypno birthing classes so I will ring her tomorrow.
Feeling very pregnant today. Lots of people have commented on the size of my bump and I have struggled a bit with walking round and sitting comfortably.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Yay, glad she turned Euro. Enjoy your last day at work today.
Oh crazy, that's such a nice thing to be able to tell your little one as they get older.
I still have ten weeks left at work, but at the moment only 6 are full weeks, but I still have two more days to use up so may try and have two more shorter weeks.
Baby has been quiet the last day or so, but he seems a bit more lively at the moment, does anyone else find their little ones quieter during the week when they are at work?
Pushchair has been dispatched, no idea where we will store it but I excited it's on its way!! Mini cot should also be here soon then I can work out what bedding to buy and quantities! If anyone can offer advice on how many sheets, blankets etc I will need please let me know! Also, I was hoping to use mostly sleeping bags, but read they aren't suitable for new born- does anyone know if this is true and a it all brands or just certain ones?0 -
Think pink - we managed with two of everything but have got a tumble drier. Sleeping bags are more to do with size of baby I think. My DD was 11lb at a month old so was fine to go in one, it's to do with their heads being able to slip underneath I think

I have four sheets for the cot and I put a muslin on top for baby spit up!
As long as babys head can't fall through the neck hole you're fine to use them. We use two cellular blankets atm as the girls are still a bit small for sleeping bags. I'll probably buy some for 3 months onwards. Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

38 WEEKS TODAY  still got crazy period pains that have kept me up most of the night, I'm hoping labour is soon as these pains seem to be a regular occurrence now. I have got my Midwife appt tomorrow so hopefully he hasn't grown much more (over the 90th centile last time) and is still head down.
Enjoy your last day euro!!Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls
1st Baby due June 2016 :happylove0 -
I have four sets of sheets for the cot too. And more blankets than I can ever use. Figured if we have enough for a few clean and a few in the wash it would be fine. And the sleeping bags are the ones with little shoulder straps so she can't slip into it too far and go under them. So got some that are from birth to six months.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Enjoy your last day Euro.
I met with the BMI specialist MW today, and my what a lovely woman! I was with her for an hour and she chatted through all the options. But the upside is that she is happy for me to give birth at the nice MLU as long as I have no complications between now and the end. The MLU is lovely, it's a new unit, 7 beds, with double beds for post birth. Just the one birthing pool but she has said that there has never been a queue for it.
It's all starting to feel a bit real now  :rotfl:* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

This time I'm going with pillow cases as bedding for the Moses basket and carry cot because they can be used long after the baby grows out of the basket etc. Also grow bags usually have a weight indication of when they're safe to use, if I remember correctly it's usually about 8lb 8 ish but it is linked to their heads going through the hole.0
