Congrats Toots! What a fab name as well - just lovely..
Had an appointment yesterday - Doctor went over my birth plan and he's pretty happy with all our request.
There is one thing that's bugging me but it's on antenatal care so not really his side and more for pediatrician to be questioned about tbh.
Here they don't let you go very far overdue to I'll definitely have baby here in hopefully 9 weeks which is a lovely thought
It's 43 degrees outside ATM and I am starting to swell...I think I'm being very vain but I honestly think I have cankles..

keep forgetting it's bank holiday Monday tomorrow, I so need the extra day off too!! It's sunny and warm here so I'm going to wear my floral lounge trousers, they are so comfy, but oh isn't keen on them, he says they look like pj bottoms.. do I care.... No, I just want to be comfy!!
Same here. I have PJ looking slouchy pants with all little blue stripes down. He mocks them but I love them. Could live in them, if I was brave enough to leave the house in them. I'm on count down now. 7 weeks to go at work, and with bank holiday and a day off for midwife and whooping cough jab, this is a short week!Book a week challenge: 11/52. Congratulations Toots! I'm glad little one is here safe, and content. I hope you recover quickly too xx
It's hot and sunny here too. I won some shorts on eBay last wweekendand they arrived Mid week. They are my new favourite thing in this weather
Heading over to the MIL's this afternoon
DH put the bedside crib together yesterday. It's the chicco next to me one. It was soooo quick and easy to put together. I love itFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Congratulations Toots, I'm so happy for you, had a feeling you wouldn't be coming home from hospital without your baby girl!! Hope recovery goes well for you, try and take it easy xxx
Money- that's what I need... presents!! I think that will make me feel much better, I must mention it to him (although this is the same man that says if the baby comes on my birthday then the baby is my present!!) worth a shot though.
We have bought the Silvercross Pioneer, it was the first one I saw and fell in love with it. Plus the handle lifts up quite high so hubby has no problems pushing it either (being 6'3) the only trouble it is that it takes up most of the boot... ahh well, can't have everything I guess.
euro- we have bought the Chicco next to me crib as well, but it is currently sat in it's box, I keep telling hubby that he needs to put it together.. but apparently there is no rush!!!Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

Haha, I wear mine out, (just worn them to the supermarket and won't be getting changed when we go round our friends later! ) it's warm here today so I'm wearing them with a black vest top. To be fair I've seem loads of people who aren't pregnant in similar floral trousers!!
I'm on countdown too, it's 10 weeks till my annual leave starts (using up 4 weeks worth before my maternity starts a week before my leave date) but I have 6 random days annual leave booked before then too to use up this year's entitlement. Hoping it goes quickly!!0 -
Congratulations toots enjoy lots of cuddles and rest when you can0

Having a lazy day today. OH is out all day/night so I'm all alone. Have been to shops, sunbathe and read in garden for couple hours and now contemplating starting covering the base of the ottoman.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

He was cheap on Amazon last week too, but gone back up now. Wish I'd thought to mention him sooner.
Might have overdone it a little. Shattered now. Been doing some work in the gardens while it's nice. Got a new olive tree for the back, so been digging that in and doing some more on the borders and the other fruit trees and bushes. And got a bunch of baby lavender plants to line the path yesterday, so dug a border along the path and planted them. Now I want a big drink, a big cake and to collapse!
Think I'll have a lazy evening. There's a local bird rescue who wanted me to make some little crocheted birds nests for the babies they take in and rescue. Nice and brainless to make. Sounds good right now.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -
We are in full house sorting mode today... The in-laws came down for the weekend and have kindly helped us out with wardrobes and bits for our spare room to increase our non existent storage. It's taken all day but we are heading out for a carvery shortly so looking forward to that! Hoping we get everything diy done today so we can go out for the day tomorrow before they leave.
Still thinking about pram... My friend has lots of bits we can borrow (bedside crib included) so I guess if we borrow a few bits then actually paying a little extra for pram is not too big a deal. Sadly I also love a set of furniture in mcare and IKEA just wasn't the same. Our nursery room is currently completely full of boxes and toot so got a big task ahead of us sorting that out before we buy any big bits anyway!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

We've gone through a similar process pyscho. Lots of flinging, and selling (mostly ebay - tried a car boot, wasn't worth it).
We got rid of most of the stuff. The rest is going to have to go into the garage now (there's not so much left thankfully).February wins: Theatre tickets0
