Didn't get a scan. They decided to start induction last night so here I am 24 hours later with little to tell. Due my 3rd prostin (sp?) any minute now. I am contracting but not regular enough at the moment. Thought I would hate being in hospital but it's actually not that bad.

No water birth for me.

Baby still being naughty and moving very sporadically.

Will keep you updated ladies!

Going to look at pushchairs this morning, really hope the one I've got my eye on online is as nice in real life and hopefully it's nice and easy to use. If we don't like it i may cry as it feels like all I have done is research pushchairs!!

Went out last night so didn't get in until late, definitely will be needing a nice nap later!!

We are in for an induction on Monday 6th of June, due to the diabetes mainly. Hoping she decides to put in an appearance before!

Had backache all night so didn't get a great night's sleep. We are going to the Manic Street Preachers gig tonight, 5 hours of standing should be interesting! It's local so can leave if I get too uncomfortable. I'm going to rest and do very little today until then to save my energy.

skint - I was nervous but more excited now. Had a meltdown about a fortnight ago about the birth and then since then I've been much better and focused on the positives and now feel more excited. Glad I had the meltdown moment as I was wondering if the shift in perspective was ever going to happen! Being nervous is totally normal xx

For about the last week the baby seems to have got into a new pattern, quieter through the day and then livelier at night. It has kind of always been in this pattern I just feel its gotten quieter. Had a growth scan yesterday and they said the heartbeat was fine but not sure if this is just a new pattern or if I'm just worrying! Maybe I just need to pay more attention!?

Back from pram shopping and luckily there was no need for a meltdown as we liked the one I had my eye on. They were trying to sell us the shop display one as it will be discontinued soon, but we left and went online and it was available online (through their system apparently it was showing out of stock) so all ordered now, so glad that's the big thing ticked off the list!!!
