jtr - sensible advice. I just seem to be scared about reading/researching the labour part! I will know more next week when I know whether I can go to MLU or have to go to labour ward. So will make it a priority for next weekend.

This morning in bed I was spooning OH, and baby was properly booting him in the back! He found it hilarious :D

We are meant to be starting to sort the nursery today, but currently I'm on here and OH is on the PS4! Will go fetch him in a mo.

Also we are getting his new (second hand) car later. We opted for a cheap runaround rather than a newer car due to finances with me going on ML for rest of year. He is buying it from a mechanic friend who has replaced almost all parts himself so it's in good condition.

Well, the scan has confirmed that she is definitely head up! Little monkey. It's really difficult to make out stuff on the scan at this stage! But....we did manage to see her face for a couple of seconds! :D

So, I'm now booked in for an ECV on Tuesday at the main hospital. Fingers crossed! If not, it will be C-section for me! Eek!

It also means that, if I have even twinges they want me to ring the hospital as they will want me in pretty quickly to check baby's position etc and make sure they can do a C-section if necessary. Also, even if they manage to turn her, I still have to go to the main hospital now (rather than the local MLU) as there is always the chance she could turn back. I'm told though, that there is also an MLU at the main hospital, which is good.

So, today could very well end up being my last day as I was only due in on Tuesday and Wednesday next week, and now I definitely won't be in on Tuesday, but may be in on Wednesday (depending on what happens on Tuesday). So, frantic last minute rush to pass stuff over to colleagues as we're taking the approach that today will be last day, just in case.

Thanks moneypenny. Knowing my luck, I'll get myself all geared up for a C-section and then she'll turn the night before! haha

    Welcome quelfie :)

Euro - hope baby is turning for you!

Well we only managed to get the chest of drawers built today. OH had a bit of a hissy fit when his man hands were too big to put the small screws in :rotfl: so I didn't dare mention doing the cot bed! Plenty of time to do it.

I also went through my wardrobe and have 2 bags of clothes to go to charity shop. Had to move my pretty dresses from the spare room rail to my actual wardrobe :( so needed to make space, been meaning to sort it out for ages.

OH's mother has kindly given us some money for baby items :A I've ordered a changing table, mainly for storage of nappies etc. I know lots of people don't use them for actual changing but it will be easier then getting to the floor!

Feeling a bit tired now and have got heartburn, seems to be a recurring thing this week around this time of day. Never suffered with it before.

  • euro- hope your little monkey turns for you asap, get bouncing on that ball! I keep hoping my little man is staying head down and not turning, he has been head down since 28 weeks, does anyone know if they can flip back up this late in the game? (37+2).

Toots how did your scan go?

Once again I thought I was in labour today (I know... a regular occurrence) the pains in my belly and back were horrendous and I couldn't move, stomach really tightened several times and thought I was going to throw up at one point. They have worn of again now though.

    Welcome quelfie
