I handed in my maternity forms today, really hoping they pay me as I think I should, it's a bit complicated with transferring to a different contract after a tupe, and potential for hassle but fingers crossed!!

My next midwife appointment is when I'm 28 weeks, I'm not so worried about my birth plan as I will just go with the flow. I will ring up my gp surgery though and see I'd I can get booked in for my jab! Will have to do it though when someone is free to come with me, I've improved a lot with blood tests but not other injection type needles!!

God, I feel so much better after a pedicure!!! My feet haven't had this much action in weeks..

After reading something online yesterday about pregnancy hacks and one of them being about having a wax down there... And how stitches and hair there don't exactly mix well (:rotfl:)
I am booking myself in for a wax and mani/pedi just before my due date :rotfl:

its worse if you end up with a section.. they shave the bit they are going to slice then stick a giant plaster onto the remaining hair... i think they do it on purpose.

Ooh me too, had a lovely 90min pedicure today :) my feet feel so soft and look pretty now. She was a nice therapist too, friendly and made sure I was comfy throughout.

psychopathbabble - just make sure you have regular polish not gel/shellac etc. You aren't meant to have varnish on when in hospital according to my MW, they can remove normal one for you but not gel. They use your nails to check various things which is why they want them bare.

Euro I didn't get any sort of trim and don't remember the plaster being close to any hair but maybe I'm forgetting!!

Definitely take giant knickers for a c section as normal ones do sit along the scar line
