Hi Think, I originally planned to get this I had it on order with M&P but changed my mind after re-jigging the bedroom we've got a bit more space so we've bought a mini cot bed from Costco instead.

It was a lovely cot and the one I saw in store was sturdy. It takes a travel cot mattress so that should give you an idea on size.

Had a letter yesterday from the health visitor to say she's coming to visit me next month. I remember that they don't usually come until after the birth? The letter was very vague.

Think they come beforehand now. Mine has arranged to visit on 3rd June when I'll be 38 weeks :)

They usually see you before the baby arrives to give you the health record book thing .. they do checks at the hospitals now and like to put the reports in them before you come home.. something else to lug to the hospital!!.. hearing screening for example.. Mine was a few weeks ago.. but as always at an impossible time (9am in the opposite direction to school.. I've known my HV for about 20 years!)

Woke up with a huge urge to sort out the garden! It was rather overgrown. I spent 3 hours out there mowing the lawn and tidying. Looks so much better now :) but I'm knackered! OH kept telling me he'd do it but I was enjoying myself. He did all the hoovering and tidying inside instead. I also got 3 loads of washing drying in the sun on the whirly too :)

Glad I'm off tomorrow as no doubt I'll be achey!

Oh and I ordered a pair of maternity denim knee length shorts from New Look and wore them. They are super comfy and cooling.

OH's dad now not visiting next weekend.. good job I forced OH to ask.. he also implied that OH's mother isn't coming at half term too.. so he needs to ask her now.. apparently they don't know when the inhabitant is coming so don't want to come.. that must be the most pathetic excuse I've ever heard in my life.. noone knows when they are going to arrive of prem babies wouldn't be such a shock! if they don't want to come why can thye not just say that? Why do they have to make out it is my fault? They are going on holiday on the 18th.. I might just stand on my head and keep it in until then just to be spiteful! :p:p:p:p

I'm a bit miffed on OH's behalf if I'm honest.. I don't want them to come but you'd think they could make some effort for OH!

<-- no pleasing the crazy hormonal person! lol

Pigpen - How selfish of you not to know when the baby will arrive :D

Euro - Very exciting, I need to get ours cleaned and set up.

Need to buy a crib for the baby and car seat for the 4 year old, get the pram cleaned and buy a new mattress then I'm good to go.

Off to pack my hospital bag now. I'm officially on mat leave wahoo!!

It is my last week at work! Woohoo. Roll on Friday at 12.30pm. Not back at work until the 27th February.

We finished the nursery this weekend, absolutely delighted with it. Just need to find a nice picture to put up but nothing is inspiring me so far.

36+4 today and I am absolutely knackered. Can't wait to chill out for a few weeks.

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the advice. I did look in the magazine/booklet i was given and seem to be finding it a little easier. I must say it does not hurt as much as it was when i first commented on it. I have been applying the lasinoh nipple cream and it does work great. Its just when she is mega hungary my nipples get a battering lol.
At the moment i am finding she always cried when she is having a poo or gassy/windy. Im unsure if she has stomach problems. I am going to speak to the midwife today and see what she suggests. Am i right in saying i cant give her gripe water yet, if so is there anything else anyone can suggest. I have been rubbing her belly and moving her legs in bicycle motion. Hope you are all doing well.

Bought my pram today! Yay, now I'll get Hubby to collect it tonight. Got M&P armadillo flip Xt - we've been looking at it for a while so delighted to get it on offer with carrycot. Got in unisex colors as I don't plan on buying another pram.

Enjoyed my yoga today but I did notice baby is getting in way now.

Had my OB appointment - baby is measuring on big side, I'm happy with that - rather measure big than too small. Got to see my doc now again in two weeks. Girl has her head down :) so hopefully she doesn't wanna move around now too much!
