Having a catch up on all the posts now. Not had a chance. Work has been crazy. Can't believe I'm going to have a year off soon. Well, can't really call it a year off. Not like I'll be relaxing and having a lie in, but to not go to that place for a whole year! (Dances and waves flags).
I'm melting again. Love this weather but the extra huge stomach and weight is not helping. Freezer full of ice lollies is. I Keep trying to do bits in the garden but knackered so quickly I think I'm going to have to give up and leave it a jungle. It's strange I have the energy or motivation to even try. Not been able to drag myself out of bed in the mornings lately. Wondering after all the mentions of swollen feet, and with the hot weather if it's worth me buying one of those little bubbly foot spas? Has anyone tried them to see if it helps the feet? I haven't started with any swellings yet, not that I can really tell anyway..everything is growing and swelling..but if it's likely is like to be ready.
More packages arrived for madam today to be added to the mountain in the nursery. Can't wait til decorating is done and I can start getting organised in there.
Could someone please add me to the list next time it's updated. August 30th. Though I've been told there's a good chance it could be August 1st between the bicornuate uterus and placenta privaria (spelling?!). Hoping for 30th.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -
Had my final growth scan and consultants appointment today. Sonographer remarked baby was suddenly a giant after following the 10th centile, consultant says she's assuming it's a blip as it's unlikely to change so much in two weeks. But they also think that I have too much fluid but as I'm 38 weeks they're not as worried as they would have been a couple of weeks back. Won't be long now till we see this little monkey0

It's lovely pigpen. I can't knit, wish I could. Can only crochet, which I seem to be doing non stop. Made three blankets, hats and little boots and now am making a laundry hamper in the same striped yellows as the walls will be, so it all matches. I can't concentrate on difficult patterns at the moment, so changed this pattern so it's a flower shape instead of the swirling pattern around the outside that it should have been.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Pigpen - That blanket is gorgeous, love the purple ribbon.
I wish I could knit/crochet. It was only my lovely gran who could knit and crochet but her arthritis in hands means she can't do it anymore. I picked up a few lovely hand knitted cardis and booties from the spring fair at the boys school as I love babies in hand knitted stuff.0 -
Lovely blanket pigpen!
I can knit, but I can't crochet. But, I haven't had any time to do either really. Hoping to have some time during maternity leave, especially as DH will be at home too. And a family friend has already, kindly, knitted us a lovely little blanket for the little one
Friday is sausage sandwich day at work. Already scoffed it. Nom!
It proper warmed up here again yesterday. I was baking hot and moody by the time I got home yesterday! haha. It's started off cooler this morning, but the sun seems to be burning it's way through the clouds so I expect it will get very hot here again today.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Oooh pig that looks lovely, I can't knit or crochet so I am making my Mum and MIL learn.. I'm good like that
I just have no patience at all.
Yep I'm the same pig, I have had to buy myself some new flip flops as nothing I own fits, my ankles and feet have merged into one blob, no ankle bone at allit's a pain trying to drive with them like this as they are not flexible at all.
Last 2 shifts in work now, I cannot wait I feel so ready for this!!!

I appear to be doing last minute nesting, but outside, the car seats have been swapped around and the baby's base is in. Car's also been tidied up. I've also weeded a tiny bit of the back border and planted some plants I've needed to plant for a while. Hoping to get the gazebo and patio furniture out whilst DD is napping then I can sit out and finish the baby's cardi. Just need to do the band's and stitch it up and add buttons. Shouldn't take more than an hour0

Oh, you're all being so good with knitting etc
This baby gets the hiccups a lot now! haha, after almost every meal I have. I'm just hoping she doesn't start kicking my bladder on the walk home tonight, like she did last night - I almost wet myself!February wins: Theatre tickets0
