Would a bowl of cool water for your feet help pigpen?

I hear you about the bladder! Monkey was kicking mine a LOT last night. Nearly wet myself on the sofa when I was trying to do car insurance comparison! lol Had to get up 3 times in the night to pee, and still woke up desperate when the alarm went off!

Flutter, I think pigpen is right, the timing probably isn't as important as taking them is. If you're car sharing though, would you be able to leave them in your colleague's car until lunchtime?

I seem to have developed an allergy to the sticky stuff on asda plasters. I put one over my belly button to cushion it whilst it's healing. When I took it off last night, it was very red and swollen - in the shape of the plaster. Never had that before. I thought it might be all plasters, but I remember putting some boots ones on the back of my foot last week due to a pair of shoes that were rubbing me and I didn't have that problem at all. Very odd.

house insurance paperwork in here... most tedious! and the renewal from my current company is cheapest by about £50 than any other quote I found.

I have plaster issues anyway with my latex allergy.. I don't think a plaster on an infected site is a good idea.. it will just hold the infection in and make it worse.. maybe use a gauze and tape to hold it on.. the micropore (which I am also allergic to haha) type rather than elastoplast type... so it has room to breathe and not make your clothes sticky.

Mine has been really hoppety for a couple of weeks.. I have found that the quieter they are during pregnancy the naughtier they are when they escape.. I'll take a wriggly inhabitant any day!

Odd Euro - maybe check with MW if there is any reason why you would suddenly react?

Re tablets, can't leave them in colleagues car as she is a gym bunny so goes every lunch time. And to be honest, it's getting too much for me to walk out and back each day in my lunch now! It's a half mile walk from my office to the car park as I'm the furthest side of the prison from it! Will stick to just taking them when I can and avoiding eating soon after :O

I've left it sans plaster, or any type of covering, since last night anyway. The actual infected part is looking a lot better already and isn't so sore, so I figured that 'letting the air' get to it now would be better. It's just irritating that my belly button now touches my desk frequently! Ick! Obviously my top covers it, but I'm sure that the near constant touching of it is what caused it to get infected in the first place.

Flutter, not sure why I'd suddenly react either. But a google search revealed that quite a few ladies develop new allergies during pregnancy. Most seem to go away after the birth though :)

Hope you get your Iron tablet solution Flutterby, honestly, don't worry too much about the timings. Euronorris, new allergies are common in pregnancy - it's cos of how your immune system is set up ATM.

So went to do my GD test this morning - blood pressure perfect and OB called me back to let me know it's came back normal :) I'm so happy - hand me the ice cream! Hahahahahaha

Can't wait till our appointment next week to see her again.. I'm so excited now.
