I'm 38 weeks and have gained about as stone and a half. Went into hospital this morning or monitoring because baby has been quiet for two days. He decided to wake up as we got there which is typical.
I just thought it was my feet which were blown up but apparently my tummy is also puffy.
Just waiting for my scan and sweep on Thursday, was supposed to be at my local drs but was told today it will be back at the hospital.

Hope everyone is well. The heat isn't as bad up North today but still have my desk fan on. Couldn't live without it at the moment.

Have my 36 week midwife appointment tomorrow. Pretty sure baby is breech again as can feel what I think is her head right beside my rib cage. Literally have no pressure down below either. Think I will be getting my blood taken again tomorrow to check iron levels. I've been naughty and not always taken 3 iron tablets a day but doctor did say I didn't have to if I was having any side effects.

My work are doing a "Guess Date/Weight" sweepstake. Everyone has so far guessed I will go over! And that baby will be huge :( Cruel colleagues.

    Ahh no Toots :(

My colleagues have started joking about adding my Mum on FB and then posting statuses such as 'ooohh, it's all go in the office today with the ambulance called for euro!'. And I'm like....nooooooooooooooo, do NOT do that! Jeez!!!

    Its freezing here.. and wet..

I've only got 1 maternity item I wear at the moment.. I'm pretty much wearing that and 2 non-maternity dresses. I really need to fling the rest at ebay.. it's just so dull.. I list 2 items and end up asleep.

Oh god Toots..here's hoping you go a few days early ;) that'll teach em! In my last office someone started a pool like that for our boss, I didn't get involved as I'm Irish and we are superstitious like that!

Stood on the scales today and happy to see my weight gaining has slowed down... Baby girl is currently resting under my rib cage as I've heartburn again :D

Other than that - one of the girls has offered a little bag of maternity clothes to me - I have loads but I'll take a wee look, other than that I need to find another pregnant lady here to pass them to!

Went to order my pushchair in M&P yesterday as they had an offer on the one that me and hubby want. The carrycot bit wasn't in stock but included in bundle price. The assistant preceded to tell me I'd left it very late ordering one as I've 11 weeks left.. Eh, but you said it would be in store by next week, I'm not in that big of a hurry..

Hey everyone, been a while since i have been on. Just a quick one. I had my baby girl on the 06.10.16 at 15.12. She weighs 5lb8oz and is doing great. We named her Jasmin.
Labour wasnt great saying i was being monitored all the way through coz of gestational diabetes but all worth it. I dint know my contractions had started until i was 3cm and started bleeding which is the only reason i went to hospital then 4 hours later i was 8cm so all happened very quick.
Having a few issues breastfeeding and very emotional at moment. Feel like im letting her down by stopping breastfeeding. Been told first week is always the hardest. So going to take each day as it comes.

Congratulations on the birth of Jasmin, try and rest and get lots of cuddles, and please give yourself a break from the guilt over breastfeeding.

    Congratulations khal! Beautiful name.

Don't beat yourself up about breastfeeding. So long as she's fed, loved and watered that's all she needs xx
