I know, I've been doing lots of research on it. I've got my birthing ball that I've been using each night to try and encourage her to turn by herself as well. I don't think there's been any joy on that front yet.
Midwife at antenatal class also suggested moxa sticks for anyone who wanted to give an alternative therapy a go. I might try them as they are a cheap option, even if it does nothing.
She was also good at pointing out that natural delivery is possible and nothing to be scared of. Yes, it carries risks, but so does a C-section.
She was very fond of not using words such as 'have to' and 'must' etc and kept reiterating how everything is up to us. And pointing out how certain pain relief, for example, can lead to further intervention etc etc. I liked her.
It's my understanding though, that certain types of breech can't be delivered naturally. Although I think (am not certain), that in my case she is bum first which should be possible. It will all depend on what the scan shows up.

The sun has reached the North of Scotland eventually! (Rained all weekend here) I might have to invest in a dress or skirt or something as my work trousers are not comfy anymore.
I have finished packing hospital bags apart from last minute things which need to go in them.
We had our first Parent Class on Friday afternoon, there was four couples (including us). Everyone was very friendly. It was my midwife doing them which was also good. They talked about labour, types of delivery, pain relief etc. I think I have settled on birthing pool if available. The midwife was really good though and told us not to be forced into anything that we don't want or hasn't been explained to us in full and don't accept "Just because" from the hospital midwives.0 -

I shall be going out for my milkshake later on the way to ante natal class.. I actually have a UK midwife doing our classes and she's such a lady, super nice so glad to hear everyone's getting on well!

I'm a big baby lemon tree - I hate getting bloods done due to my very crap veins. I'll see how I feel tonight and try and have my dinner before 9pm so I can just get it done tomorrow.094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Oh my god the heat is unbearable and I am a sun worshipper!! Like most of you I couldn't sleep last night and had to be up for 5 for work.. only 3 more shifts though so my last day is Saturday yay, it can't come quick enough.
Just bought some maxi dresses of ebay and need to find some new sandals now as none of mine fit, this swollen feet malarkey is bonkers. So glad I'm only pregnant for the next month or so as I really don't think I could cope with this through the summer!
Had the tour around the hospital yesterday, it was actually quite good and at least we know where to go when we get there now. Didn't realise that they only had 2 birthing pools though, hope to god one is free when the time is here as I only wanted that with the gas and air (This prob won't be the case and I will be asking for every drug available)
34 +5 getting there
