I've had tightenings which aren't painful and I thought they were BH but maybe they weren't. They don't feel crampy just a bit tight. Maybe just my bump growing?!

Euro - I would have been convinced what you were having were contractions! How many weeks have you got left now is it about 5? X

Gosh, I really need to remember I'm 7 months pregnant! I had loads of plans today, was going to tackle the garden. Thankfully it rained this morning so I didn't. But I went to the Range to get inspiration for recovering my nursing chair, then small food shop in Tesco and I was knackered! I had to come home for a nap :o. Then I did some jobs in the garage and I'm knackered again!

They were painful alright. At antenatal class they said braxton hicks would be irregular and contractions regular. But they also said BH wouldn't hurt lol I guess everyone is different.

Moneypenny - 34 weeks today. So only 6 weeks left to go! How about you? You seem to be missing from the list x

My BH have always been like clockwork, thats why I know they are faking ;) .. contractions were always random times apart, even when I got to pushing point they were still here there and everywhere.

I've been asked about 25 times in the last few days how long I have left.. I am tiny yet everyone seems to think it is huge and I have 5 minutes left.. seriously.. I have 2 months left!! .. the baby is immense, but my tum is tiny.

  • Ouch euro- mine certainly weren't like that they are just uncomfortable and my stomach goes rock hard. I also get period type pains but they don't last long and ease up quite quickly. Poor you, hope you don't have any more like that (until actual labour anyway).

ssshhhhh... don't tell anyone but my leg is less sore today.. I still know it is there but my pain threshold can handle it ..... sshhhhhh....

cuppa time then I have to nag my daughter about the bedding again.. and get on with my paintwork scrubbing. I have requested quotes from a couple of local companies for a new front door.. mine is absolutely shafted.. I may be forced to bodge it for another year while I save up the funds but I will get there hopefully.

I am concocting a list of demands for the consultant.. on the off chance I do actually ring and sort an appointment.. its only a short list..

I'm having a minor panic this morning too... what if sproggit decides to arrive while OH is at this wedding? Or what if it decides to arrive the following couple of days when his mother is here?? Why did I suggest something so stupid????

My head is fried just thinking of how awful it will all actually be.. why can I not just go hide in a cabin in the woods and come back when it is all over?

I don't want to go to the hospital here.. I really really don't, I hate it..
