Christ, I'd wear shirts and a T-shirt at work at the moment if I could get away with it. It's just so humid and muggy here today.

God I feel like a whale :( my bump was so tight and heavy last night. I was ravenous yesterday but when it came to dinner, I barely managed half my plate cos I felt so full of baby. Still feel heavy today but not tight. Looking forward to my day off tomorrow.

    29 weeks today :D

I've put 3 stone on already and people keep telling me I look well "considering how pregnant you are". They are either lying, blind or the baby is going to be 2 stone on delivery :D

Flutter - I'm finding little and often a good solution to being too full of baby to eat food!

Loving your realistic approach skint! "Would love a birthing pool but will probably take any drugs offered when it comes to it!" thats pretty much what I did last time :D

    Welcome crazy cat!

Slightly cooler here today but still muggy. I too am glad I only have a few more weeks of pregnancy if this heat continues. With DC1 I was pregnant through the summer and struggled with the heat a lot. At least I'm nearly off work! :D

I have days like that flutter. I'm getting better at eating smaller meals, more often now though. It does help.

Midwife appointment went well. BP lower today than it has been all pregnancy! lol Typical.

Baby is head up, as I suspected. Next appointment on 24th. If still head up (or even queried), then it's off for a scan for me.

And my belly button piercing is infected, as I suspected. Have to speak to GP though, so am expecting a telephone consultation this afternoon where he should hopefully prescribe some antibiotic cream to clear it up.

Stupid piercing. Not had a problem with it in years (stopped wearing a belly button ring years ago), but I think all the stretching of it, and because it now regularly brushes up against my desk at work, has made it susceptible to germies. Boooo.

I've put on 2.5 stone and have another 7-9 weeks so goodness knows how ginormous I will end up.. again.. I feel like a huge fat potato.. I'm little, I cannot deal with extra lard!! Baby will be a huge 4-5lb of that 2.5 stone.. so probably half of it is really lard!!

I can barely eat anything anyway so what I can eat I eat in vast quantities.. soup and rice krispies aren't hugely filling though so I can fit loads in!

I had a few chicken dippers last night (cooked too many!) so todya I have nasty tummy ache and wind.. not too terrible but enough to know it is there.

I have 2 august babies and 2 September ones Moneypenny.. heavily pregnant and summer is horrible.. but it is nice to be able to take a newborn out without smothering them with clothes and coats and blankets and to show them off a bit. ;) It was thick snow when I had DS2.. I had to stay in hospital an extra night because the roads were closed due to the snow (Jan 1996)

Urgh.. I need to collect Dot from nursery in a bit.. my feet are like balloons already! it is also threatening a downpour so I will see if my raincoat fits (hahaha.. who am I kidding!) and get jackets for the others just in case.

Yeah I agree pigpen - DC1 was a December baby, it snowed so couldn't go out with the pram for weeks as all the pavements were icy and "nipping out" meant dressing her up in about five layers and taking forever! I didn't enjoy months 3-6 of pregnancy in the summer though, feel like I've coped better with them in the winter/spring.

After this weekend I've basically got nothing on that I "need" to go to so if it gets too hot I will be staying in the house!

Euro - good news about BP. Hopefully babs goes head down for you x

  • I'm the baby of the class again in this group and have some catching up to get to you lot in a lot of ways, but at least in the "I feel enormous" category I can keep up ;) I have so far gone up from 12 to 16 and still going fast. I haven't weighed myself as I think I'd cry, but I wasn't sure exactly what I weighed before anyway. Living in jogging bottoms for work as I'm sick of replacing jeans and maternity gear.

Weather is getting better so a group of us here would normally go for a good walk at lunch times. Sadly all I can manage is a slow waddle which still leaves me shattered. So I give up and embrace my inner whale. I haven't git the swollen ankles and feet yet, so that joy in still to come.

Besides the bottom of my back still giving me agony all the time no matter how and where I'm sitting or any cushions or wedge pregnancy cushions, I think I've escaped quite easily so far (touch wood!). Sleeping fine still, not too many aches and pains in the day or night and little one seems to be behaving..or will be if the placenta moves to the right place and stops blocking her exit!

She has hiccups right now. Love it.

    Hi All. Hi Crazy

My GTT came back normal Yay!

Stressing out at the minute as my younger sons School appeal panel hearing is Friday and I'm trying to get sorted for that.

It chucking it down here today - stark contrast to yesterday :(

My feet are really swollen. I broke my ankle about 8 years ago and 2 years ago had another op to remove the metal work, well this ankle is giving me so much jip its so unbelievably swollen. I don't know if it's something to be concerned about or not?
