  • A friend at work had her birthday today. Massive trays of donuts everywhere. Everyone kept bringing me one in case I hadn't already had one and in case the bump wanted an extra. Shamed to admit I had 5 and brought one home. They were trying to get me to take a tray of them home with me. I didn't! Feeders the lot of them.

Euro, I've just realised that this baby has never had hiccups, his sister used to get them all the time

Todays post included an appointment with the consultant.. guess what!!... at a time I already have another appointment elsewhere.. at a time I couldn't manage if I didn't have another appointment.. how hard is it to comprehend I CANNOT do mornings or Monday and Tuesday at all... maybe I need to translate it into various languages like they do their leaflets so they may understand something lol. It is actually for the week I was going to request an appointment however, and I did mention it to the MW on Friday so it may have been her doing.. but the time is still not happening.. it needs to be after 1:30pm.. preferably 2:30ish so OH cant come with me.

I need to cancel the MW one next Thursday.. when my son is at Diabetes clinic.. he takes priority as the appointment should have been in December so is WAY past due!

Why am I always so busy??

I've just about finished the second blanket and will be starting the third tomorrow hopefully.. yarn dependent!! I'm flinging them on my Etsy page I think.. though I may need to keep one they are lovely!

skint.. my feet are too wide for flipflops anyway.. but right now I haven't a single pair of shoes that fit.. I buy shoes from Evans because my feet are so wide I cannot wear normal width shoes.. and even those won't go on now.. I have a pair of old, dead Blowfish pumps which the reviews all complained they were 'too wide' and they are the only ones I can just squeeze my feet in but they are not comfy. I've not seen an ankle bone since last tuesday when we had that first warm day.. thankfully I only have a few uncomfortable weeks left!

After having slept really well (for 29 weeks pregnant, only needing loo twice a night, woman!) for the last 5 days, last night I woke at 2am with backache and could not get comfortable for love or money. Around 4am I got really frustrated and upset, so started crying, which woke OH :o. He calmed me down, rubbed my back and cwtched me til I eventually fell asleep :). Feel a bit foolish now! :rotfl:

I've not had hiccups yet, or maybe not noticed them. Also seen lots of people say baby is active when they drive but I mine isn't!

Yesterday I absentmindedly tapped my bump, and baby tapped back :D, did this 3 times in a row! It's my new favourite thing to do.

I didn't recognise them as hiccups at first. It wasn't until the third or fourth time they happened that I realised there was a pattern. It's a nice opportunity to let people feel her moving, cos I know for sure once she starts that she'll be hiccuping for a while.

Last night I dreamt that she was sticking her head out so far, I could make out her facial features! Lol

Mine gets hiccups daily too.. not as often as Squeak did she was forever at it! I have feet sticking out my right side and a head rattling about on my bladder which is really painful.

I only venture to the loo once at night.. usually between 6 and 7 am so I am just up from then :( pointless even trying to go back to sleep at that time... plus it is light!

Second blanket finished. I need to weigh them and see how much yarn is used and if I have enough for a third.. They are heading to my Etsy page once they are blocked.

Went to two second hand baby sales today - first one normal one and second one was a designer sale at a thrift shop - I couldn't stop myself buying a baby Dior cardigan - it was only €6 so I don't feel so bad :D Got lots of baby bargains today but that's me done shopping now for a while..

Got my next scan tomorrow, excited to see little miss again!

Was going to make a joke about not buying babies second hand and not knowing where they been, but..yeah.

Felt this little one hiccup twice. Only figured out what it was the second time. Guessing it'll become more common. I'm quite far behind you lot. I'm still at the freaked out to see my belly dancing about on its own stage. Any time I'm in the bath or shower, seeing my belly moving even when I'm holding my breath. It's magic and scary at the same time.

Hahaha crazy cat lady - should have put it better! Lol
I've got tons of stuff second hand though - it's such good value! Got lameze toys and all today for next to nothing... I've no idea why people keep telling me that I probably want to buy everything new cos it's my first?

the belly moving is so cool, my little girl has been moving like a champ today...

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me popping over here a week early, but I know that a few people (who I think are have now graduated over to this thread) talked about the mamas and papas petite cot so I was wondering if any of you had got this and if so what you think of it. Thank you in advance.x
