Pigpen- I feel sorry for you, I have suffered with horrendous IBS for the last 16 years and figuring out what you can't eat is the hardest part. I love carbs they can't do me any harm....except make me gain weight! Hope you feel better soon x

skint - how lovely! what a nice surprise! We can ring GP to check results. They usually say if you haven't heard from them then assume all OK. I got a letter to say I had low iron. I always ring GP receptionist to check just in case anything is mistakenly overlooked

    I've attempted soup this evening..

I don't like bread but tolerate toast
cabbage, peas, carrots, mushrooms, potatoes are ok.. today
    noodles and rice are bearable
some fruit is ok but has to be very limited in quantity.. like 5 grapes .. no bananas, kiwis, avacados.. latex allergy.. no red fruit, it makes me itch.
    meat and fish are out
    Dairy is also out

obviously biscuits and ice cream are fine, but crisps and chocolate are out

I'm about here... the list is shrinking.. I really hope it resolves after the eviction.

Next month is scary close isnt it Skint.. I've not got the bedding back from DD1 yet.. she finishes uni for a week on Wednesday so it will be her Thursday job so I can get it washed and stuff at the weekend.

I need to ring and pay off the rest of the pushchair next week too and arrange that being delivered.. I should be sorted then.

I have made a decision.. I'm good at those ;) (I'm about as decisive as a stick).. I will ring the hospital and make an appointment with the consultant for 36 weeks.. that should be fun.. My terms, my conditions and my control..

Well thankfully my dream was wrong and I didn't have baby at home this morning at 8am! So I've probably got to wait another two weeks. I've sorted the neutral clothes that have been washed into sizes, and just have a few more to wash, but I still can't find the bloomin' Moses basket sheets so I definitely think we're going to use pillow cases, no point buying more sheets for only a few months

I did manage to persuade OH to go to Cardiff today :). We had a nice lunch and wander round shops. We were only out for 3 hours but I was exhausted and had to stop for a sit down on way back to car!

I did get a bargain in Primark. I went to look for the elusive maternity range though turns out all they stocked is bras, nighties and pjs. But I got a pair of pjs, which have a half button top. Ticket was £12, but they went through till for a fiver!! Bargain.

Then we went to Ikea, and after coffee and cake, we bought chest of drawers for the nursery, a lamp for the lounge, a table lamp for nursery and a few other bits.

Third trimester today - yay! Went to a really informative talk last night by a UK doula - she was fab. Hubby feels lot more at ease about everything and I think he feels like he can help out a bit more now in Labour.

Going to order cot etc in the next two weeks when hubby gets paid, then need to take stuff upstairs to have for when baby arrives..

Had a full on day yesterday so today is definitely a PJs day for me, couldn't even be bothered going to my cooking class later as I feel exhausted.

School run number 1 done.. I am collapsed until 11:15 now when I have to go pick her up.

Pixie got her nursery place letter.. 5 mornings starting in September... place accepted she is most excited! 3 school runs a day are going to kill me!

My toe hurts.. and my leg.. and my other leg.. and my back... and I am uttterly shattered! Woke up to OH upchucking .. lovely.. he better not have germs!

Bother.. I have dentist on Thursday too (just got the reminder text).. most amusing.. Last week I was sent a mw appointment on Friday when I already had another appointment elsewhere.. booked in December. I was given another for this Thursday which coincides with my dentist appointment haha... watch them send another for next Friday when I have another appointment.. I should possibly be less amused by this than I am.. they don't consult with me when I can make it (not that I'd go.. but still) they just expect you either have zero life, nothing else going on in your life and that you will drop everything for their convenience. Come to think of it.. I can't do mornings.. OH is out 4 mornings and I am out the other.. I've only just realised that too.

Listy bumped for new bumps to be added :D

I guess I should do what I had decided and ring the consultant secretary and book for 3 weeks time.. like I told myself I should.. I struggle to do even what I say, how does anyone expect me to comply with their agenda? I am a giant 3 year old!.. I need to find the letter with the contact details I guess.

Hope you all had good weekends.

Mine was good, but busy, as parents came to visit. Lots of eating out. Therefore, lots of me feeling stuffed and uncomfortable! lol

Had the blood pressure check at hospital this morning. All good and back to normal again. DH was with me this time and he asked loads of questions about what it means, and what to look out for etc. Think it made him feel better about it all. I do tell him this stuff, but he seems to believe it more when it comes from a medical professional! lol

Tomorrow night is out antenatal class at the hospital too.

Hospital still has 3 wards closed due to norovirus, and restricted visiting elsewhere. They've installed extra hand gel stations and loads of signs about it. So, you know, I was pushing lift buttons with my shirt pulled over my thumb, and using the hand gel at every point! haha Paranoid much?!

Pigpen - don't call them. Absolutely, you mustn't! Don't do it.

(*wonders if this reverse psychology stuff will work instead :D *)

Right, better get on. Have a good day all!
