    Third trimester today - yay!

    Me too :D.

Had my 28 wk appt with MW this morning, my iron levels are very low so she will get me a prescription for iron tablets asap. Kinda relieved in a way as it explains why I'm so pathetically tired :rotfl:. There was a student MW there too so I had double the measuring and heartbeat which was nice :).

Have rung to book antenatal classes and left message so hopefully they will get back to me today.

Flutterby I also had a student midwife at my appointment this morning. They were really nice as usual and helped ease the concerns left by the consultant last week about baby's growth.

    34+5 here.

Had a nice night away on Sunday night, went out for tea and relaxed in the hotel. Was excellent and much needed. DH has come down with a nasty cold though so I am avoiding him until he gets better! We also bought a carpet for the nursery so once that is fitted next week we can start building the furniture. That will be a fun done, guaranteed fall outs.

Our "Parentcraft" classes start this week so looking forward to them, especially since I finish work at 12.30 on Friday to go to them!

Hardly sleeping now, maybe an hour at most. Absolutely no way Pregnant women get lots of sleep before baby arrives, no way!

Washed most of the clothes this weekend so can now start packing hospital bag for baby.

I miss the days of being pregnant. I have had 5 beautiful babies with no complications. I wish you all the best of luck. Is this the first child for many of you or do you have more than one? Being calm and relaxed is very helpful and not always easy. I was a nervous wreck when I had my first and it was a lot easy than I expected.Always ask questions cause there is a lot of stuff they don't tell you and assume you know.

  • Work have finally sorted out my leave, so my last day now is 16th May, 8 more shifts and I cannot wait!!! Really feel ready for it now.

34 weeks tomorrow and I swear this little man has moved down, he feels really low now especially when I am walking/waddling around. I have got my next midwife appt on Thursday. Hey, how many more blood tests do we have now? (providing the pregnancy runs smoothly) you all know what I am like with needles... like to prepare myself.

Hi Cinderellie, Yep this is my first and I must admit I am the kind of person who although loves to be in control does not want to know a lot of what happens, I think it would freak me out big time if I knew anymore. I can't even watch one born every minute, it makes my insides hurt :o

God pig- you're really not having a great time at the minute are you?:(

skint.. I'm used to it.. I'm just happy my kidneys are happy.. they are my weak spot.. sore toes I can handle but kidney failure is absolute agony.. so I'm ok..

even I am still refusing to use the crutches, my toe hurts, my sore calf is agony, my pelvis is broken and my back hurts... its all ok because my kidneys work. Even though I have just moaned for 7 months solid hahaha...

Skint unless anything unusual happens I think blood tests are done with once you've had your 28 week ones
