Baby is kicking away still so all is good
OH is out tonight, I was going to have friends round but cancelled this morning in my worry and cos I'm tired. Told OH this earlier, I hadn't let on my worry about baby cos I leave before he gets up most days.
But I came home to find he had popped home and left me 2 bunches of flowers, some posh biscuits and posh lemonade in the fridge with a note to relax and enjoy myself tonightbless him.
So pjs are on, pizza has been eaten (though I'm still hungry!), biscuits are open, lemonade poured and copious amounts of stuff to watch on sky+. Happy Friday.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

jtr - It is tricky to know what is best. Particularly as I had had movement yesterday just significantly reduced. I've had a couple of quieter days but yesterday stood out as the quietest I'd ever had which is why I decided to ring up. I had an anterior last time and movements were definitely cushioned compared to this time.
flutter - glad babs is still wriggling. Mine is being a wriggler tonight tooSounds like OH is a keeper!

DD1 sent the basket back ... I still love it to death.. I'm so glad we bought it, even though I had to aeit weeks for it to be in stock.. It is one of the original Mothercare Snug wicker baskets .. they still do them but mine is about half as wide again as the new ones and a good few cm longer.. its just beautiful.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Should the hospital/midwife let you know the results of your bloods or do they just let you know if there is something wrong? I don't remember getting any results from any of my bloods taken, and I certainly didn't after my 28 week ones.
Had my baby shower yesterday, I didn't know anything about it I was just told to meet my mate in Manchester, so off I went and she had organised it all in a tearoom... so cute!! All my friends and family there and she even managed to get my MIL and SIL up from Milton Keynes, without me knowing (this is an achievement in itself!) Loved it and got so many gifts for me and the baby (although Hubbie was moaning about where his presents were, told him the baby is his gift :rotfl:)Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

Ah skint that's nice!
I got lots of baby freebies yesterday. Got pack of 80 odd breast pads free from Boots, and picked up the last Emma's Diary pack which has actual decent freebies in it - pampers, socks from gap, washing stuff from fairy. I also bought some nipped cream (half price in boots), baby bath stuff, big pack of wipes and newborn nappies from Aldi.
I really want to get started on baby's room cos at mo all the stuff is just dumped in corners! I may try persuade OH to go to Ikea tomorrow, we had planned to go in couple weeks when we have week off.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Skint I have a card thing I carry with antibodies on and I should have been sent a new one so they've clearly not done those.. Results are usually sent to me and the gp but they don't have them either.
I feel horrendous again today.. My digestive system hates me.. I can't eat anything without massive stomach cramps, trapped wind and pain .. It started with just meat making me ill but I didn't have any yesterday so fish may be added to the list.. I'm going to spend the next however long eating cereal and toast it seems.. I'm nearly fit to cry about it.
My leg is still really sore.. No redness or swelling just pain so I've likely just strained the muscle a bit though my drama llama is saying dvt .. There is a massive family predisposition to dvt and my grandad and uncle died at 41 from PE as a result .. See, hysteria!! Lol I will pop it to a&e if it gets red or anythingLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Pig- Hope the leg gets better soon that doesn't sound good at all! I've got pains in my groin area today it is so uncomfortable I'm struggling to walk.
We went to Mothercare today and bought the remaining things on the list, the only things left to get now are the isofix base for the car seat and something for the baby to sleep in for now, this was going to be the chicco next2me but we realised today that the bottom of it wouldn't fit under our bed so now we are looking at the Snuzpod.
The nursery is all done and finished now. I have washed all the babies clothes/sheets/blankets and packed both of our hospital bags now, so that's them out of the way.. PHEW.
Just realised we are in May, Baby boy is due next month arghhhhh :eek:Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls
