Fingers crossed things have kicked off for Sweetilemon and gone smoothly, hope no news is good news :)
I had mw yesterday, baby is a bit lower than last week, now 2/5 palpable rather than 3/5, and nicely positioned with back on the left. Bump hasn't really dropped much, and I've got no other signs of labour being imminent, but as my DD was so late, but didn't appear like a very overdue baby I expect we've got a bit longer to wait still. Seeing mw again next Thursday at 41+3, if no baby before and we'll discuss sweeps/induction then. Consultant put on my notes for induction at T+12 which would be Easter Saturday. I've already decided I want to wait until at least +14, partly because my friend was induced over the Christmas BH period and had a horrendous time, and because my induction last time was probably the cause of my c section, so want as much time as possible to labour naturally at home as planned! My birthing space is all ready now, emergency bags packed etc so we're just waiting on baby.

I have the most glorious flatulence today.. pmsl... I do not have tummy ache for the first time in weeks.. so I smell like a rotting sloth but I don't care because I have something that hurts less.

I will be seeing my mother today.. first time since its been totally obvious so we will see how lovely her response is this time!! I dont tell her because not only do I rarely see her the old adage 'if you cant say anything nice say nothing' has never got into her head.. and she makes all manner of mean and hurtful comments.. there are so many worse things to bring into the world than a much loved baby.. meanness, rudeness, for example... the best part is that she says these nasty things then says 'well noone told me how many children I could have'... well eff off then b*tch!! grrrrr... I'm really cross just thinking about it, can you tell?

She knows anyway because my sister will have told her a couple of weeks ago when she was here for 5 minutes and asked.

I'm kind of tempted to say if she actually bothered being part of our lives any more she would have known much sooner.. *rage*

I may take my rrage and vacuum the back room with it.. a bit of rage cleaning wouldnt hurt in there lol

    Good spot!

    Congratulations Laura!!

Hope Sweet is progressing nicely and we get an update soon!

Had my 32 week scan yesterday. Both babies are head down and extremely close together right in my pelvis (no wonder I'm in pain!) so getting measurements was hard, but from what she got the estimates are 4lb 11oz and 4lb 13oz so big babies but that just means strong to me! Next scan is at 36+4!

Told the consultant about how I can't physically walk or move without being in agony, and she totally ignored me! Great, what am I supposed to do for the next 5 weeks? I can't even get out of my car without screaming in pain. I'm so fed up with it, but I only have 6 days left at work now! :j:j

Hi all, it's been a while since I posted on here-didn't really get much chance towards the end of pregnancy!

Our little Sophia made her appearance into the world last Wednesday, 5 days after her due date following a sweep the previous day. We are totally in love with this little madam, she already has daddy wrapped around her little finger!

Hope those of you who have given birth are enjoying your little bundles, and those waiting to meet their little ones aren't too uncomfortable! X

Congratulations. I hope everything is going well x

Lulu.. my 30&31 weekers were 3lb 10 and 4lb 9 .. the 4lb 9 one they reckoned would have been about 10lb had he gone to term!

there is nothing they can do about the pain.. just try to keep your knees together as much as possible and do as little as possible.. lifting, carrying an walking make mine much worse.. you are permitted paracetamol but they wont give you anything else.. I couldnt even sit on the loo when expecing Squeak.. it just made me cry.

    Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
I had my baby girl at 7.28 this morning, 8lb 6oz. I had a 4th pessary and had my Waters broken at 12 midday on Thursday. I had the IV drip and contracted until 5am on Friday, only got to 4cm dilated so ended up with an emergency c - section. Baby is doing great, i've not been allowed to be moved from the recovery ward as I've got high pulse and temperature so suspected infection. I need to get some sleep as ive still not slept but loving being a mummy, she's beautiful!
