Sweet.. if you don't eat you won't go into labour!!!! Your body needs the glucose to give you the energy to get through it.. I had such looooong labours I had a glucose drip because the contractions stopped because I hadn't eaten!!! They are bullying you into a section.. If your waters haven't broken and you are not dilating and the baby is happy there is no reason to have one. You also don't realy need to fast if you are not havng an anaesthetic so there is another reason to not take any notice.. I had eaten just before my emergency section with DD3. What do they do with emergency patients who turn up needing surgery right now to save their lives?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

The leg cramps, why did nobody tell me how bad you can cramp up during pregnancy. I am like a footballer after extra time at the moment. At least 3 times a night I am up stretching my cramping calf muscles!0

Yeah, it's a strange one Toots. It's started with me in the last week as well. Thankfully only seems to be in the morning when I wake up and dare to have a morning stretch!! I hate cramps!
Midwife called this morning and has changed my 28 week apt from Thurs 24th, to Friday 25th (Good Friday) at the hospital instead. I had to call and change the time, as she'd made it for the morning but I am doing the boot fair that morning. Then baby brain kicked in and I was panicking about how I was going to get there as DH is planning on going fishing that day. Until I remembered that I will have the car (he's going in his mate's car), so I can take myself there and back! Doh!!
I'll be having my anti-d injection on that day. I know I need to wait around for 20 minutes afterwards, but I should be fine to drive once that wait is over shouldn't I?!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
I've not been harassed by mw's yet.. other than by post.. I can handle that lol.
I'm dreading them remembering I exist.. kind of hoping I can get to half term at the end of May in peace! .. It can arrive then, it would be convenient hahaha.. that really doesnt sound that far away does it? 10-11 weeks.. that's maybe 2 blinks!!
oooh... postie just brought me a letter from the consultant.. asking me to make an appointment.. on a Friday.. sadly I'm busy.. or something.. I was tickled by the sentence 'it is imposible for us to provide care without your cooperation' .. no $h!t Sherlock!
And a letter complaining I do not dump my 2 year old at nursery while I am sat at home.. let me think about it for a nano-second.. because she is mine and I am at home.. woah.. brain fry!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

We've got the hv coming round tomorrow. Seems like these days they visit before the baby arrives, I'm guessing to give you all the bumpf you need after baby has arrived.0

Last day went well thanks, some lovely gifts to bring home and then finished the day off with a pamper evening
Lemon Tree - yes the health visitor left a load of leaflets with me ready for when baby here. She said they don't like overloading you once you've had baby now x0 -
sweet- I hope that since you haven't been on the thread since early this morning it means there is movement **fingers crossed**.
We had the 4d scan today it was amazing, even though he was sleeping with his hands in front of his face most of the time, he was still wriggling around, frowning at us (just like his Dad) but gave us a lovely smile near to the end. He is weighing 2lb 6oz and she said he was measuring at 27+5 (I am 27+1 today), he was head down with his bum pretty much in my rib cage no wonder it aches so much. Once again I got all emotional (when does this end??? I am NOT an emotional person!)Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

Hi all, it's been a while since I posted on here-didn't really get much chance towards the end of pregnancy!
Our little Sophia made her appearance into the world last Wednesday, 5 days after her due date following a sweep the previous day. We are totally in love with this little madam, she already has daddy wrapped around her little finger!
Hope those of you who have given birth are enjoying your little bundles, and those waiting to meet their little ones aren't too uncomfortable! XMFW 2016 #32 £1574.66/£1500:j:j0 -

Thanks pigpen. I have a banana every day (it's my favourite fruit), but it doesn't seem to be helping. Was still woken up with leg cramp in the middle of the night.
Oh well.February wins: Theatre tickets0
