I looked at the Vista's too but they are over £800 and thats just not possible.. the seats are from 6 months so you have to buy the carrycot.
We will go view the oyster and sell a kidney if necessary!
The other double I've heard really good things about is the city jogger ones?Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

The curtain pole is a bit dubious, I think if we took it down to change the curtains it might not go back up again. Plus it wouldn't take the weight of anything higher quality! They are awful though, really thin cotton, cream and salmon stripes, not long or wide enough for the French windows, and no use at retaining heat!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Moog.. I have a dodgy curtain pole at my french doors.. I made curtains with black satin and a layer of lace.. I have an inner pole inside the reveals which I hang a fleece blanket on for heat retaining .. if thats an idea?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Tbh, as it's in the dining room we just don't draw them! If we're still in this house next winter I'll replace them with something more substantial, but we'll replace the pole too.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160

Lol Littlemoog you won't be able to stop thinking about these curtains during the birth. At least it'll help take your mind off the pain! I'm still hanging around, not much going on. Feeling sorry for OH using up his leave to hang around and wait. I think if the 3rd pessary fails I'm offered a section but don't plan on taking that option unless baby is at risk.0

Here they would do three days of pessaries then break your waters then stick you on the drip.. It may all kick off very suddenly and happen very quickly.
I wouldn't go for a section either unless baby is in danger.. there really is no need to put yourself through that without just cause.
Just go for a walk/jog/sex in the broom cupboard... lying about won't help.... obviously there is the time you have to be immobile after perrsaries are inserted.. but other than that

Hope things are getting started for you Sweetilemon x don't be afraid to push for more time before the next level of interventions, as you're not being induced due to concerns over baby?Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160

Thanks, I've said I'd rather not have a section. I've had 3 pessarys and a sweep so hoping something will happen during the night. It's just the size of the baby but it's not measuring out of the guidelines and it's happy everytime it's monitored. Really hope to get things moving. I'm not dilated enough to break my waters need to go to 2cm then they'll break them and put me on a drip.0

You can at any point tell them to stop.. and say no to anything you are not comfortable with.. don't be bullied into giving in without fully considering your options.. and they will bully you if you let them!
My inhabitant was huge when scanned.. they moved my due date forward nearly 2 weeks and it is still on the 99th centile!.. its just huge!
I'd go home for a night, tell them you'll be back in the morning.. and do your thing.. being relaxed at home is more likely to start things off than the pressure and harrassment at hospital. My other trick... I'm going to the canteen with my OH for lunch... and went home.. lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I'd ask to go home too, in my hospital they actually send you home between pessaries rather than sitting around the hospital.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160
