Had a nice morning in the hairdressers today while I still can but the relaxation was short lived as had a midwife appointment this afternoon and she has had to refer me for a growth scan as still measuring 33 weeks - the same as 2 weeks ago at my 34 week appointment. Just got to wait for a call when they can fit me in :(

pigpen I assume you need a very specific kind of pushchair? I struggled to find one that ticked all of my boxes, but luckily for me I could opt for something cheaper as a "make do". I ended up spending £860 on my Mountain Buggy, but it makes me feel better when I see people I know with only one baby saying how their pram was £750+!

I need one with a toddler seat for Small too... that usually adds an extra £150.. I need something pretty robust so I can use it as a walking frame as I can't walk far without something to support my hips. I HATE the Bill and Teds pushchairs.. numerous times I have seen the child in the basket put their hands in and on the dirty wheels.. and one one occasion got their fingers trapped in the spokes!! .. I have the bertini bidwell (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191795327574?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT) which has a clip on toddler seat which is fantastic but the steering is shot and the chassis is rusted beyond repair.

We also need it to have a really high handle.. OH can't push most as he is simply too tall... and I am not tall so it needs to be adjustable.

    So yeah.. pretty specific!

The only ones I have seen which might be a possibility is the oyster max with tandem seat.. the toddler seat lies flat for the baby so Small can still see where we are going.. or the Zezu which reviews say has a very low back rest on the tandem seat and Small isnt very small.. So I have no idea what to do!

Back-to-back and transverse babies often measure smaller as they curl into your back or are simply not laid straight.. and different people measure differently so unless you have been measured in the exact same spots as before they are only guessing and wholly inaccurate.. I wouldnt be worried at all.. guestimated measurements can be off by 5cm.

Rampant Recycler I've been Money Tipped!
I almost bought this, but the fact it doesn't parent face really bugged me.

I've seen a couple of these in my local shopping centre (a woman was even navigating it around Card Factory!) and it seems fairly lightweight and narrow, and it's suitable from birth.

The new version of the Uppababy Vista released last year can have 2 full size seats on the frame Pigpen - we have the 2012 Vista and it's still pristine after 3 years of use, plus the frame is so sturdy and it's very high, good for me and DH as we're tall, but MIL is tiny and had no issues once the handle was on lowest setting.

Sweetilemon, hope things kick off for you soon, it can take a while if you haven't started naturally, hope you're not too bored!

Pool trial was fab thanks, it pumps up really fast, fits where we wanted to put it easily. DD loved playing in it! We think it will take a long time to fill though, as our bath takes ages, so DH will fill with very hot water as soon as we think we might need it, and we can always adjust with more cold of it's not cooled before I want to get in. I'm going to decorate my "birth space" tomorrow, I've got fairy lights and some lovely affirmations DH has printed out for me with pictures of DD as a newborn etc to try and make a lovely cosy space and get the oxytocin flowing :) shame the curtains in our dining room are vile, but you can't have everything!

I looked at the Vista's too but they are over £800 and thats just not possible.. the seats are from 6 months so you have to buy the carrycot.

We will go view the oyster and sell a kidney if necessary!

We had a Hauck Freerider with the older ones but I sold it about a year ago .. I struggled to push it as it pulled to one side .. it was great but I wouldn't have another.. it was free as a Bizzibaby product test :)

We had the out&about 360 twin as well for the older 2.. only 13 months between them and they both hated it!

Hope you find a good deal on your pram pigpen. Worth the money if you use it I suppose just quite and expensive outlay.

Koberts hope your scan goes well, the bump measurements can be way out so try not to stress too much.

Thanks Littlemoog we are definately bored, looking forward to things happening lol. The birthing environment sounds lovely how exciting!! Can you not get OH to treat you to some curtains? Lol.
