Any luck sweet??? If you're not too busy of course
The inhabitant was not impressed with OH resting his arm on my tum this morning.. it wriggled a bit.. did a full 180 spin so it could kick at his arm.. definitely its sisters sibling this one, beating up OH already (it must have been listening to me complain about him haha)
Nope! Had curry for dinner and still on this ball but nothing!! Think OH was disappointed he had to go to work instead this morning. Still hopeful but doubt it's worked, they did say 48hrs but was hoping something would have happened by now. I was really hoping to get woken up with contractions but no such luck. Think it'll be an induction after all.
Haha pigpen they already have their own little minds! Mine has been in the same position since 32werks so I mostly get a wriggly bum!0 -
I hate heartburn / reflux. Seems to have come back with a vengeance and is just constant throughout the day & night now!0

Just popping out to say lulu, LB is now 4 weeks old and I spend, on average, 6 and a half hrs a day breastfeeding him. That is quite a chunk of time, and there is only one of him.
Also, my OH didn't really get any of the post partum stuff before our DD was born. I ended with an emcs and the experience of labour ending in theatre really traumatised him. Added to that the doctors saying after how much I needed to rest to recover terrified him. Even this time, with it being a planned section, being in theatre seeing me cut open again, he stepped up to the plate especially with helping with dd and doing things around the house that previously he wouldn't even notice. He even told me this week that on the days when dd is at nursery, my sole responsibility is still to rest (in between feeding and caring for ds).
Oh, and removing the battery from the doorbell is quite a good way to avoid visitors, or just ignore the door and if they phone/ message/ ask you later I just say oh, I must have been napping - I was up in the night to feed the baby.
Sweetilemon, hope to hear some news from you over the weekend.
Littlemoog, glad you're on leave now - enjoy the time off before LO arrives. I especially loved DD's nursery days with the novelty of some time to myself!0 -

My daughter mopped the kitchen floor a couple of hours before her waters broke.. 4 days before her due date.. she was ignoring her son and he made a grand mess in my kitchen so I made her clean it up.. I offer you my mop and kitchen floor!
I guess one way or another you'll have a baby in the next week or so.. one of the mums at school was in hospital for 6 days 'being induced' .. baby was clearly not done cooking and was not coming out! They told her it was a 'huge baby' she wasnt much over 7lb.. so perfectly average!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Koberts I'm with you, my heartburn is fine for ages then gets really bad. Thanks saffagal hope you and baby and keeping well.
Pigpen you are too kind with your cleaning offers, will try get my own done first though. Brought the vaccume out to start earlier and woke myself up snoring on the sofa! Made the mistake of popping to the supermarket for something for lunch and dinner, choca full of very rude OAPs, I started off in quite a good mood saying "excuse me, sorry" then realised no-one else in the store had any manners, barging past with glares, grrr. Rant over.
Oh and OMG 6 days?! Hoping things will get moving before then!! That's horrendous, poor girl must have been at her wits end. My little monkey has definitely grown a fair bit since my 36week scan, i've ballooned!0 -
they put on around half a pound a week in the last few weeks so probably gained about 2lb in that time!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

I've certainly not weighed myself anyway, I got weighed at my booking appointment, thought the MW would have weighed me again but glad she hasn't. I dread to think what I weigh but as long as baby is ok I'll be happy. Still sitting staring at this vaccume, really should get a move on!0

I haven't been weighed since booking in and don't intend to even look at the scales again! The last few weeks my appetite has increased 10 fold and I spend all day at work eating.
I dreamt last night that baby was born this weekend at 27 weeks. It felt so real and I woke up in a panic. Strange mind.0 -
I'd avoid scales until the baby is about 2 lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Pregnancy definitely makes for some scary and vivid dreams toots!! Probably just your biggest fears processing in your mind.
Good plan pigpen I intend to avoid them!! Depending on how this one goes, by 2 I might have another one in there for excuse No2 haha. I did try to keep to a diet plan (adjusted for pregnancy) when I first found out but it was far too hard!! I tend to self medicate heartburn with food lol. Oops! Just trying to give baby a varied diet haha.0
