And today I had the caffeine withdrawal headache! lol.. 85 cups of tea for me today.. hopefully food will be my friend because I am flipping starving!

Running a file recovery on my other laptop, it threw a wobbly, reset itself to Win7 and deleteed all my videos, pictures half the programs and all my bookmarks from A-R .. not helpful!

OH out today until about 7pm.. looooong day ahead for me!

You're having quite a time of it pigpen. I cut my caffeine right back when I first discovered I was pregnant but have to say its slowly crept back up in the form of diet coke and tea! At least raspberry leaf is caffeine free!

Hope your file recovery works out, how stressful. My work computer went wonky the day I left, was so glad for it not to be my issue lol.

Thanks sweetilemon. I hate waiting around for appointments. Hope it comes through quickly ><

Good luck with the file recovery pigpen. I really hate technology when it goes wrong lol. Oh and good luck with your long day.

I couldn't handle tea for weeks. Now I'm back on it. Really shouldn't be. Far too much caffeine and decaf just tastes like !!!!!

if you took notice of everything you shouldnt eat/drink we would all be dead within a week so unless it is actually poison (alcohol and cheese of all kinds!) I eat and drink exactly what I want. Realistically, if things were so bad we shouldnt eat them why are they available for sale in the first place? Surely if they are so bad in pregnancy they are just as bad when not.. so is it being said our babies lives are more important than ours??

I have never taken a blind bit of notice of any of it tbh I've never been very good at doing as I am told ;)

Pigpen I quite agree with the everything in moderation. I started off being very good, then when my sugars were monitored and was told to avoid fruit, reduce carbs, anything processed it all got a bit overwhelming. I cook from scratch often but working full time, taking bloods 4 times a day and then being limited diet wise I was getting quite stressed. I have relaxed things with the thought that stressing over my diet will probably cause more harm than a bit of white bread!

Glad to know I've been poisoning my baby by eating cheese.

no lemon.. you've been poisoning yourself.. cheese is nasty stuff!!

I don't avoid anything.. the cheese thing.. how often have you been made ill from eating it in the past?? I'd wager, never... so why is it suddenly going to make you ill now? Surely if it was that likely it would then it wouldnt be available for sale anywhere ever to anyone. They are guidelines written for people who lack common sense, or they think we all have the brains of maggots!

Congratulations Littlemoog on reaching the magical " full term " feels like a bit of a milestone. Even though this is my first day off I'm still up early, woke up when my DH left for work. Spending the first day off waiting around while my car is in the garage for the 4th time just to fix the windscreen wipers. Still trying to sort out my babies wardrobe delivery from argos - 4th delivery yesterday and still not got the parts to build a wardrobe!! How difficult can it be?! I ordered it at christmas - my house purchase was a quicker process, what a nightmare!

Bamama, hope your managing to keep it together ok. Fingers crossed your appointment comes through quickly.

    Hope your feeling better pigpen.

Thanks Sweetilemon, same to you! Hopefully not long til we both have lovely little bundles to snuggle! Now that I've reached the "magical" 37 weeks the MW will come out to me at home if I go into labour, so should probably get started with organising stuff! I've got a day off today so got all the newborn and 0-3 clothes out yesterday and will be putting them through the wash. Also want to pack my labour/emergency hospital bag, and a bag for my DD in case she needs to stay away somewhere. I also need to hunt out my tens machine and check all the bits are there.

  • I'm doing the exact same this morning Littlemoog, i've just ironed lots of baby clothes, blankets, sheets and hooded towels (not that I'll ever keep that up lol, just looks nice for the first wear heehee). It feels so close now. I've got a weeks worth of lunch dates planned but that's about it. Apart from the odd thing I need to get I'm feeling ready for my arrival when they are.
