Don't think I will queue jump as there is quite a big gap between my due date and the previous date, however, I will get my actual date (crossing everything that baby plays ball!) next Wednesday. So impatient to get it now! I have had a rotten cold this week and tried to spend most of Monday on the sofa - as far as possible with an active coming up 3yr old, and spent all day yesterday on the sofa whilst she was at nursery. Felt almost human again today!
Am finding baby has periods of being very quiet, then prolonged periods of very painful movement; as though baby's trying to stretch out and my body is stopping the stretch, which it is.0 -
I will definitely be queue jumping MummyMelxx! Twins only go to 37 weeks max which takes me to w/c 18th April. It is nice, though, knowing I get three weeks less than everyone else, and it is annoying my two friends who have singletons and both went to 42 weeks! Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

My twin sisters were born at 38 weeks, but induced, they were both over 8lb, biggest twins ever born at the hospital at the time! Twin 1 was breech as well, I think policies have changed a lot since then as I'm not sure they'd induce in that situation nowadays!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160

The growth scan was because of my slightly impaired GTT fasting blood result. All went fine, they said they baby is measuring a tiny bit big but not a concern. Hopefully my fasting results will be better this week otherwise I've to go on tablets.
Glad your feeling a bit better Littlemoog.
I'm going to start looking at my birthing plan soon. Doesn't look like I'll be allowed into the MLU which is a shame as it sounds like I'd like that best. I'm still keen to be mobile and use the birthing ball.
Pigpen that sounds like a scary time and distressing if you were getting the blame! Glad it got diagnosed eventually.
Hope all the overdue girls are getting on ok!0 -

Morning all
I've had a rotten cold for near on 2 weeks now but have finally found out why i just can't shift it.... I had a letter from the hospital telling me i'm anaemic, so baby is basically stopping me from getting better as it's robbing all my good red blood cells!!!
At least I know now and can get it sorted. Would this effect my due date or birth??
Oh and good luck to all the late and due ladiesx

The hospital told me I won't go over 37 weeks, 36 for identicals, and that hasn't really changed.
btw those who have had c-sections, or have had c-sections in the past, when did you find out the date? Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

As far as I know being anaemic shouldn't have any impact on your labour or EDD, but if your Hb is already low any blood loss after birth will make you feel even more pants. Are they giving you a prescription for iron tablets? I had them after my daughter was born due to blood loss but iron levels not being low enough for a transfusion - they really upset my digestive system. There's a form of iron called spatone which you can buy in pharmacies, it's an iron-rich mineral water which is more bioavailable and easier on your system. You can take a couple of sachets a day (mixed with orange juice to help absorption). If my iron was low this time I think I'd opt for that, as the combination of iron tablets and codeine made me feel really poorly and bunged up :oLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Littlemoog. Yeah i've been given a prescription for iron tablets, been taking them for a few days now so hoping to feel better soon, I have heard they can make you constipated which i'm struggling with a little anyway so fingers crossed they don't!!
I'm dosing up on vitamin C anyway trying to fight this cold so at least that should help absorb the iron. I'll have a look for spatone if it's good. Would i still take the tablets as well or stop taking them?hi0
