Eek, rambosmum, that must have been a shock! Mine went while I was having contractions and urges to push!
Hope things start to happen for you! Good luck! Sxx0 -
Looks like I won't be pregnant much longer- my waters have just gone!
I've rung the hospital as I'm not in labour yet and the midwife said that I could go in to be checked if I wanted or I could go back to bed and go in in the morning. I chose option 2, but I can't flipping sleep!
Oooh exciting times Rambosmum! Hope everything goes well and good luck!xx

rambosmum hope everythings going well.
We got home last night, baby likes a cuddle and doesnt want to be put down alonehe's lovely and im loving the cuddles, but havent slept!
I had an elective section, so everything was straightforward and i feel a whole lot better than after i had ds1, which is nice. Already been in the shower thos morning and got dressed and now we're waiting for the midwife to call.
Im bf so hopefully i can keep it up and save some £££, cant wait to get into the swing of it and get a nice routine now.
Plan for later if im up to it is to go through ds1's baby clothes and see what lovely clothes we've got for new baby.
Hopefully everyone else is doing well, i'm not disappearing now ive given birth so will pop back and see how everyones doing.Still here..... but working on that!0 -
Huge congrats to all! Wow, what a baby bonanza we have had! A few days offline and come back to loads of new arrivals.
Good luck rambosmum. How exciting! Your post made me go and packs hospital bag properly. Keep us posted when you can!

A baby boy arrived last night at 10.52pm after a 21hour labour, 4 pushing. Forceps in the end and a retained placenta so had forceps with no pain relief (NOT something I recommend) then ended up in theatre with a spinal to remove the placenta. Lost 1L of blood and got no sleep last night as he was grizzly (suspected headaChe from delivery) and wouldn't settle in his cot so ended up sleeping on me all night.so I have had 1hiurs sleep in 36!welcome to motherhood I guess!0

Congratulations rambosmum,
My little one was the same, the first three nights were sleepless, but we had a much better night last night. He's loving cuddles with mummyStill here..... but working on that!0 -
Congratulations Rambosmum! :T:T
I am all well prepared - nursery ready, bottle machine ready, crib ready - only thing that seems not ready is my body!!:(
Really hoping I can go on my own and have a good experience, have read lots of horror stories of induction and interventions etc, which I'd like to avoid if possible.
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -
Just popping by ahead of time. Hieveryone i was induced with my daughter and it wasn't horrific, in fact I'm guessing the same will happen this time if I reach my due date as they won't let me go overdue and it doesn't worry me in the slightest. I hope you have a good experience if it does go that way for you.0
