So excited - my baby purchases have started to arrive. Bought the 4pc rocco furniture set from argos - didn't realise I could add the matress on half price though. I emailed straight after with no reply then phoned and was told I should have contacted them sooner - I DID! You didn't reply and I ordered on Xmas day so phones were closed. Anyway, my angel care baby monitor arrived, it's got the sleep alarm, looks complicated to set up. Also bought a breastfeeding pillow, going to hold off buying a pump because I'm off work for the first year so hoping it will be ok without but if not will purchase one later.

Just awaiting my shnuggle moses basket and rocking stand along with my mamas and papas room decor stuff - wallpaper, curtains, mobile, canvas, change mat and lightshade all from the millie and boris range - gutted it didn't go on sale but hopefully will be worth it!

Baby arrived yesterday at 1.30pm, little boy 8lb 8oz. A lot bigger than i was expecting allthough i had a huge bump.

Still no baby for me though. I've had some wee twinges tonight but nothing major hospital appointment 5th Jan to get sweep and talk about induction.

Hopefully some good news soon

Eeek hieveryone!! That is so close!! Hope everything goes well when the time comes. Are you all prepared?

I'm so frustrated with argos - OH got to the last box of building the furniture set, assuming he would be building the wardrobe and the contents are something completely different! I've not been impressed with their service at all, that's just the final straw. I remember now why I don't usually use them!

I now have to check my bloods daily so hoping my sugars will be ok - swapped to wholemeal everything and no chistmas chocs for me!

Looks like I won't be pregnant much longer- my waters have just gone!

I've rung the hospital as I'm not in labour yet and the midwife said that I could go in to be checked if I wanted or I could go back to bed and go in in the morning. I chose option 2, but I can't flipping sleep!
