    Congratulations JustD and MrsHaworth!

I hope everyone is doing well. I'll try and find a list and update it for people.

I'm 31+2 - in single figures now. And only 4 weeks left of work, can't wait -my desk chair is sooo uncomfortable. I get much worse SPD sitting on it.

Downstairs of the house is done, except for shelves and pictures to be put up.

Upstairs carpets booked to be fitted in December and nursery needs to be painted, but it's looking promising! Feel so much better that it's done.

Had midwife today. I've now got them every 3 weeks as it's my 3rd, but I don't really see the point -she checks my urine and blood pressure and measures bump, but that's about it. I don't have any questions and things are fine, seems a little excessive to me.

Got a scan for placenta on Thursday - do you think they'll let me look at baby too?

Morning all. How is everyone doing?

I'm quite pleased with myself. Downstairs of the house is done, it's lovely going home now. On Sunday I went to the local airports staff sale (I don't work at the airport but local authority staff are allowed access too) and bought nearly all my Christmas presents of perfume, makeup or booze! All at around 50% high street price, very MSE.

Also, I mentioned my pelvic/ hip pain to my manager and she put in a request for physio as the GP one was taking so long and I have an appointment next week! Very quick turn around. Fingers crossed it helps, though it does appear to have got better by itself.

I'm getting to the soooo tired point now. 19 working days left until I go on leave, fewer if you include my 2 days flexi and that my last day is a half day due to the Christmas meal. I will definitely be ready to go- I think it doesn't help that I know I'm going so I'm on count down which is making me more tired.

    Placental placement scan tomorrow.
  • Welcome pootle!

With you on the tiredness rambosmum. Good luck for the scan tomorrow. Hoping placenta has shifted for you. Its so nice when the house starts coming together. Perfect timing ready for bubs.

Also counting down the days. Have a few days leave to take so am doing just mornings from the 14th Dec, and finishing on the 24th, so only 5 weeks left for me, and it cant come soon enough. I also absolutely love Christmas so looking forward to that too.

Also got all my christmas shopping done, wrapped and bagged ready. Seeing some family in a couple of weeks for the last time before christmas so had to get quite a bit of it done. Now to do the hospital bag.......Have washed and ironed all the baby clothes and put in zippy bags by size and type so its easy for OH to grab what we need when baby is here if what we take to the hospital is too big/small.

Not having a good day today. Woke early in the morning to go to the loo, felt a bit dizzy and wobbly but put this down to the fact that it was dark and 2am. Still feel dizzy now though and have been sick a few times this morning, although I dont feel sick. Just resting at home. Will contact midwife if I still feel like this tomorrow.

Anyone doing NCT classes? We have our first one Saturday. Just wondered what to expect. Also not sure what to do re baby bath. Loathed to buy one as I am worried we wont use it and don't have a lot of space for it. Any advise on what to use/avoid?

I hope you feel better soon and it's just a bit of a bug.

I haven't even thought about hospital bag :( guess I should get some non-bio to wash baby stuff in! Eek, very real now.

I'm doing NCT classes, first is next Friday, I had no idea I needed a baby bath- to be fair we do have one, it was £2.20 from Ebay!
  • Hi all,

Ive got three shifts left in work, and they cant come quick enough!! Working thurs and fri and one day next week then im done!! Maternity leave doesnt officially start until 27th Dec, but theres a good chance i'll have already had the baby before then :-/

Im almost fed up of being pg now and am looking forward to getting my c-section date so that i can count down the days. I havent done my hospital bag yet, but will probably do it this weekend, as i'll be over 34 weeks then, and am having the baby at 38/39 weeks :)

Good luck with the placenta scan rambosmum.

Devildolly - i would get a bath, i would say that they are worth it, but you need to decide what you want to get. A lot of stuff they say u need is totally unnecessary but ive found the bath really handy with my other two.
Still here..... but working on that!
