My dd was on the 91st centile for height, but only on the 50th for weight so long babies aren't necessarily chubby babies.
A colleague of mine gave me a doll's house for dd today - it is amazing and in such good condition!!! Her 8 year old has decided she wants to have a double bed because she is getting bigger now and will be having sleep over's soon. In order to accommodate the bed she needs to declutter her room. She refused to let me pay for it, saying if I didn't take it she'd give it to a charity shop. Was planning a small Christmas present for her and another colleague when I go off so will make hers a little something extra. I've decided to give it to dd for her main Christmas present with all the room furniture as bits in her stocking, and save some of the bits I'd already bought for her birthday in April.
I feel as though it is ages since I saw anyone regarding baby, though it hasn't really been that long and I see the mw again on Monday for my 26 week appt. I've another scan in two weeks today so will be interesting to see what weight they're estimating then; I do find it fascinating how the estimate a weight from a 2d scan.0 -

Hi everyone, just realised i haven't been on since our lo arrived. Last few weeks have been a bit of a blur. Anyhow, she arrived on 9th September by emcs, all 7lb6oz, we were expecting a section but didn't make it to scheduled date. Tough recovery, and ended back in hospital after 4 weeks with an infection. Life with 4 under 6 is fun, but busy!Taking one day at a time....I'll get there in the end0

Congrats justD. Wow! Four under 6. You're a super hero!
MrsH - Really hope your induction goes well. Good luck! Hope that text works. I have kept my due date purposefully vague (just mid jan) so as to avoid the harassment that seems to occur towards the end.0 -

That's the good thing with twins, I won't go to my due date but we have no idea when they will arrive and everyone knows that! I'm not telling anyone when I go into labour either

Hope things get moving soon MrsH; I have also not said a date this time round, just mid Feb, though baby should be here a week before as am having an elective section.
Congratulations justD, and I agree - very brave with 4 little ones!
Almost got the bedroom ready for my dd to move into now - so excited with how it's coming together, but bump has also grown this week as put some of the furniture together Monday evening and some more yesterday and struggled a lot more yesterday as bump kept getting in the way.
Have a lovely weekend ladies x0 -
