  • Congrats Becca!!! So pleased for you x (lovely name :) )

Welcome over Aqua marine & Robots.

SamToby - I am so disorganised....I keep thinking that I should at least buy a moses basket so that baby has somewhere to sleep. I honestly don't think Ill do much else until I finish work, life is just too hectic. What a difference from when I was pregnant with DD1! - I was so organised that time.

Congrats Becca!! She is a little beauty!!! Hope you are out of hospital soon!

I'm still off work, signed off until end of next week and whilst originally I was thinking of going back earlier to be helpful, I'm now in the frame of mind of 'why the blooming hell should I' even though my boss is lovely, everyone else I work for and with literally could not have cared less about me being pregnant, no one has bothered asking how I am throughout my pregnancy and my bosses boss has been an absolute b***h towards me in the past. So sod it....even if I do feel a bit better next week, I'm staying off until the end of my signed off period. Why should I make the effort to go back sooner than I should just to help them out, when they've not put themselves out for me?!

I've got my 28 week midwife appointment this morning, heard they take bloods and I'm terrified plus not very happy with OH who I told about it weeks ago and he said don't worry, he knows how much I hate blood being taken and he would be there with me no matter what, is at work.....having forgotten and used the excuse of 'I should have reminded him' just like it's apparently my job to remind him about every tiny aspect of our lives. Grrrr.

You can tell I'm in a ranting mood today can't you!!!! I'm going to keep calm now and continue eating this Apple Danish I seem to have just accidentally brought from the bakery.......

Sophiasmum I thought I was quite disorganised too but everyone keeps telling me how organised I am....I don't quite understand it!! I bet you've got loads of stuff from your first though that you'll be re-using so that's a good start!

  • Good luck today faithhope x

And congratulations becca! I was convinced you would have a boy, so it shows how bad I am at guessing! :o x
  • Didn't get time to add;

on the topic of pets we have an almost 3 year old shih-Tzu (either almost 3 or 3 I'm not so good with that fact but it is his birthday soon:) ), my parents have an 8 year old springer who is daft as anything but couldn't hurt a fly (no literally she couldn't she's more human than dog!) and the in laws have 2 bichons who are knocking on now too! We aren't too worried as when I was nannying our doglet was a sweetie with the bairn and the others have all been grand with babies :) but I think we have been very lucky and I still won't be leaving bubs alone with them!

Eurgh really underestimated this pain - far too much walking/shopping yesterday I think as I went in to our little town first (1mile round trip) to do a couple of little jobs then 4 hours at the Trafford Centre. It's worse now I'm sat at work. Every so often I get a twinge that makes me jump a bit or if I'm stood up curl over for a second as it makes my leg jump off the floor.

Bet that seeing as I've had such a plain and uneventful pregnancy everything happens now in these last few weeks!

  • Mysecretalias - I got rid of most stuff after DD2! Passed it onto my sister etc and once its gone through 3 children then that's it really! I still have my cot bed and some pink new born clothes that I couldn't bear to part with - don't know yet if this one is a girl though!
I did buy a bouncer in the Asda toy event on sale -but could really do with a pram. Reluctant to spend too much as I know from experience that I wont use a travel system after a few months and go out and buy another pram! I had a maclaren with DD2 and it was fab so I am veering towards getting one of those that's suitable from birth.

Don't blame you making full use of your sick note - Im off for a few days now as its half term :)

Not long to go at work so I will worry about getting organised then.

The list is moving so fast and we have lots of March births expected!

I know have a strange pain in my left arm - like I've been lying on it but it's only just started
and I'm tired and grumpy now :(

Sorry to have become a moany moo today is not my day! To top it off I've made myself a cuppa soup but can't bring myself to actually drink it. I suddenly feel really...full I guess. or at least like I can't be bothered to eat ...very unlike me!

I'm stuck in waiting on the carpet fitters, between 12-3 they will be out so whilst it's good they gave a time I still hate waiting ( I'm the most impatient person ever, if there is a queue in a shop I tend to leave)

I just want it done already. Also feeling a bit anxious that they will moan because there is a wardrobe still in the room but it's too big to move out. I have emptied it and it can be moved about so hopefully they won't cause too much fuss.
