Its a bit scary to be third on the list!


DS is finally in his own room and so I put up the co-tbed today. DH has to get the car seat out of the loft and then hopefully everything is accessible - even if its in boxes.


con1888, we didn't buy any toys for ages after DS was born. There was no need as people bought us some and basically they don't pay any attention to toys for months and when they do they want your mobile or whatever's in the kitchen cupboard The best toy you can you baby (imo) is yourself - sing, talk to them, wiggle your fingers, pull faces, nibble toes and fly them round the room


Of course now DS is 2 the house is full of toys and he still doesn't have half the amount of some kids!


jen_1985_04, we've got two part little lamb nappies and tots bots and some other brand pocket nappies. Its hard to stop buying them when they come in so many pretty colours and are second hand!


Really enjoyed watching OBEM although I'm surprised that only one lady gave birth on all fours. The idea of lying on a bed like the others did freaks me out, they just about managed to examine me with DS as I couldn't stay still! Was going to make DS watch it as he would relate to the 'late' dad but seeing as mum had another big bleed it wouldn't help him - he's not sleeping through worrying about what's going to happen this time!


I'm just going to sneeze and baby will pop out promise.....

Re the smoking, cigarette smoke lingers on people's breath for an hour after smoking so that's something to bear in mind. MIL won't be allowed anywhere my little one without a thorough scrub and some mints!

Delighted to announce that Isabelle Grace was born yesterday at 11.28am. She's adorable & only weighs 7lbs 2oz... So much for our chunk! Had a c section but recovering well so far

Whilst I loved yesterdays trip to the Trafford Centre then another team's training session I can see why people think I'm crazy still doing everything like normal as I didn't sleep well, my legs still hurt and yesterday my hips were killing by the time we got to the training session!

Going to ask for an extra 3days leave today so will actually only work up until March 11th not the 14th and I will finish on a Tuesday not a Friday. There's already some works drinks happening on the 7th (part just social part from someone's birthday - which has annoyed me as they all drink like wild things and they know it makes me awkward plus this person has only been with us since December and usually I end up sorting stuff for people's birthdays and yet nothing was done for mine...grrr *breathe*)

Going to invite the girls from the other office across on a Friday/Saturday a week or so later to go for food...as long as baby hasn't arrived yet!

Another late night tonight as we are off to another session...love rugby and training usually but I am already knackered so not sure how I'll cope. Going to treat myself to something from town to take with me for tea as I need to get a shuffle on this morning!

Becca congrats I had a feeling you'd have a girl too!

Someone from my nct class had a boy in the night, I just knew it would be a boy, think I'm getting quite good at guessing lol!

Hope you don't have to stay in hospital too long Hun. Baby is gorgeous xx
