Very much feeling like a hippo now!
And its so warm. Whose silly idea was it to be pregnant over summer?!0 -
I am 33+3 and am feeling really tired slowlyfading! Work is winding down for me but just small tasks seem like an awful big effort! How much time have you got left in work? I have 4 weeks, really can't wait to finish! really want to give the house a good deep clean and pack hospital bags but really dont know where I'm gonna find the energy from!
and I have 4 weeks to go - it can't go fast enough now! Every day when I get home I have to have a nap at the moment
and am really struggling with motivation/getting anything sorted.
I haven't got any for the hospital bags yet eithernor the pram, or car seat.... need to get organised

Hope everyone has had a nice weekend.
It's been a hive of activity here as The in laws were here helping my DH decorate the nursery. So now it's painted and the cot bed plus the wardrobe and drawers are all up. Looking at it all together is mildly terrifying! We are going to get some wall stickers and the rest of the accessories once baby has arrived.
DH has now gone away to a conference so I'm left doing all the boring edging work and hoovering!0 -
muso I'm in a similar position in that I have a Ford KA, and the only way our Cosatto will fit in the boot is if I take the wheels off. Tbh I'll be looking for a new car once I've got the head space to do so, but going to put up wth it for the time being. I know it's going to be less than ideal, but the wheels just click in and out so only an extra 30 seconds. If you think you can live with it then get the pram you love
AFM, 35+2 and just starting to feel it in my pelvis. I've been very lucky and had no pelvic pain whatsoever the whole pregnancy, but the left side of my erm...undercarriage has started to play up a bit. Some days fine, some days throbbing away. I'm still power walking 10 minutes to and from my car though, so determined to get this last bit of exercise in, in my last 2 weeks of work!
Have a lovely week ladiesx

I think we're going to go for it. Tried it again at the weekend but with the false boot lowered as far as it will go and the parcel shelf off and it will fit. Not a lot of room for anything else but when we thought about it the chances of us needing to have all 4 of us in the car, plus the full system and large bags is quite slim. We already upgraded our car for the new arrival. We had a Kia Picanto before, so similar to your Ka, so we got the B Max because it was a decent sized family car without going into people carrier territory! I think the Vista is just an usually large pram.
Sorry to hear your starting to get some pains, but at least you have haven't got too long to go now. I find I get a short sharp burning sensation in my undercarriage when I'm walking but it has eased off since I've been wearing mahoosive maternity support knickers!0 -
Is it a sharp pain? Could be the infamous 'fanny daggers'!
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Fanny+Daggers
I have some days where they're constant when I'm walking, and others with absolutely nothing at all. Theory is it's your baby's head pushing down and either hitting your cervix or a nerve, but I don't think anyone knows for sure. I think I pull some extremely funny faces walking back to my car with them!DS - 08/15

It is kind of a sharp pain but it's probably a bit too early for the formal diagnosis of "fanny daggers", as I've been getting it since about 18 weeks!
Had my GTT test this morning, hopefully MW will have results when I go for appointment on Wednesday. I've got no reason to suspect that I've got a problem, was fine with DD but since then my dad was diagnosed with diabetes so I had to have the test as routine. I've then got my whooping cough jab on Thursday. Not looking forward to that as the last time I had a vaccination I fainted!0 -
Muso- You'll be fine with your whooping cough. I used to be a right needle-phobe but now they dont bother me after having all the blood tests and the extra ones checking my liver was ok a few weeks ago. Just think, its over in a couple of seconds! Reward yourself to a little treat after, when I had mine I went to Maccys and had a mocha and 2 hash browns!
Well, my due date week has arrived! My whole pregnancy has gone so fast!!! I'm hoping when I have my MW appointment on Wednesday she'll tell me that my son has moved from a back to back position. I'm currently surgically attached to my gym ball trying to turn him!!!0 -
GTT today and no phone call yet so hoping I've escaped it this time round. Just ate a massive aero mint bar anyway.0
