Just found out I am pregnant - I'm highly emotional - I dunno how to explain it. I almost regret being pregnant? I feel lonely and just seriously weird about the whole thing. I remember the not wanting to be pregnant with pregnancy one as I just hated the first trimester and found it so hard to get through after that was ok. I think I know how it all plans out and I just feel I dunno its hard to word it just depressed and sooo lonely I guess lol. Anyone else felt like this in the 1st trim? This is pregnancy 2.

Hi all. So after a trying few days in hospital and receiving a pessary Sunday afternoon and two other gel inserts (Mon early evening and Tues about 3am), our beautiful daughter arrived at 09.11am 18th November. Once labour kicked off and I was wheeled to the delivery ward she arrived just under two hours later! Very intense experience. No time for a planned epi so survived on gas and air. All painkillers I took during labour I ended up throwing up so interesting experience to say the least.

Baby Adeleine was 6 pounds, 15 ounces at birth. Can't recall length. 48 cm maybe, will confirm. Can't quite believe she is here and all ours. Delighted is an understatement. Sleep has been almost non existent since Sunday. Ouch!

If anyone has any questions about being induced let me know. Albeit everyone's story will be different.

Currently holding my daughter in bed at hospital as she's having bad dreams. Poor love, mummy is here!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Congratulations view! Lovely news and a beautiful name too.

Freshstart - hope you're able to get to the bottom of the pain you've been having.

Nothing to report here, plodding along! :)

Trying to live a good life on little money :T
  • Congratulations View! Enjoy getting to know your baby girl.

I would be interested in hearing about the induction process - they have dated me a week further along than I think I should be so if I'm a bit late expecting induction to be suggested!
  • Evening all,
Long time lurker, but first time poster on this thread and hoping to post more often. Nearly 29 weeks gone and starting to feel like I'm wishing my life away until early Feb due date!

Anyway, if any of you, like me need some more maternity gear, New Look have quite a few nice little bits (dresses, cardis etc) upto 50% off! plus a further £10 off a £50 spend voucher code if you google 'New Look voucher code'. I can vouch for the monochrome snood coat as I bought the blasted thing full price last week; typical!

Hope this helps someone, minicazzybee x
