Thanks Mr knight n yes nice lunch out.
Explained to ds that this weekend is last weekend of just 3 of us and what fun things did he want to do - he is 4 and his first choice pub for dinner!!! We don't go that often n it's bog standard place no play area but he likes it. He did follow up with cinema n swimming so that's our weekend sorted.
My dh has been sleeping in spare room for about a mth as he had a cold n his snoring was waking me n now I am awake loads n wake him. So n o point both being exhausted.
Dh has been great since being pregnant I have had a 90min nap most Sat n Sun n he plays with ds.0 -
TBF my oh is generally fantastic, probably me being hormonally over sensitive. We did spare room last time but had visitors recently. Been managing to sleep ok, only past week or so I've been struggling a bit. Think I need to get it ready for us to use now.
Sounds like a lovely weekend0 -
Hi everyone,
Freebie - sounds like you have a lovely weekend planned!
It's so strange thinking that these last few weeks will be our last with our dd as our only child!
Hope everyone else is doing well. It's gone so cold here in the last few days! Really miserable outside. I've been wrapping Christmas pressies while DD naps this afternoon, I know it's early but want to get it all sorted before the baby comes so it's one less thing to worry about. All I'll have to do is remember to add the baby's name onto the labels before I give them out!
No signs of anything happening here - occasional braxton hicks in the evenings but that's it. But I'm only 37+4 so plenty of time to go. It feels like I've been pregnant forever and a day but now the time comes I don't know if I feel mentally ready for it to actually happen - please tell me I'm not the only one!

B-girl I have been wrapping Xmas presents too as family all 200miles away so in-laws n my mum can take them all back with them and was going to add baby name after to tags but know it will be a huge pain as too many presents so resorted to using "baby".0

I wrote a few Christmas cards the other day and then realised I didn't know what that baby will be called. I have written the same and put baby in some.
Had a lovely lunch with friends yesterday and today had a chilled day with my lo. We did a bit of baking and it was nice not to be in a rush to go anywhere. She isn't 100% so when hubby got home from work earlier we all had a sleep
Going to watch some telly with some Christmas chocolates (shouldn't be opening them really).
Have a nice weekend everyone. Enjoy your last one as a three freebiecould be ours too if consultant was right.

Hi everyone.
Haven't posted for ages, will catch up in a sec, however just to say hi and hope everyone is ok.
My induction date is tomorrow! eeeep, very mixed feelings. Very nervous about a lot of things, so many things spinning around in my head at the moment. I really hope the induction works during the day and I go into full blown labour (and that the baby appears quickly - too much to ask for?!). Otherwise hubby will need to leave at end of visiting hours and as he doesn't drive I'm feeling anxious about him leaving and then not making it back in time... just more things to worry about ... sigh! I have to keep reminding myself, whatever will be, will be....
I can't quite believe it's now going to be my turn, unless any of you sneak in over the next day or two! eeeeek
I feel ready but also very unprepared at the same time... I guess this is just part and parcel. Hubby is just so excited.
Anyway, will re-post in a few days to let you know all the details.
Thanks ladies for your support over the past months and wish you all the very best.
Can I say EEEEEEEK again !! :rotfl:0 -
How exciting view, hope the whole process runs smoothly! Looking forward to hearing how it all goes.....
As for me, I'm finally feeling a bit better after being off work for almost a week with a virus. I summoned the energy to make it to an nct nearly new sale yesterday and I'm glad I went - got some real bargains. Will definitely try and make it to another one once baby is here. The clothes were in really good condition and it's good to be able to see them in person before you part with any cash! They have stuff like high chairs, baths, bedding too and a massive room full of toys. Most stuff was about £2 or £3 so very mse!
Got a busy day today including a family get together for my brothers birthday but hoping I can just relax on the sofa. My niece and nephew (4 and 2) are very cute but I'm not up to playing on the floor with them!0 -
Freebie - That's a good idea. I should have just put 'baby' too as knowing me I'll completely forget to add his/her name on.
View - how exciting! Really hope everything is running smoothly for you and looking forward to an update
Nicky - I love the nct sales too, so many lovely and mse things!
AFM, I'm feeling ok. DH and I had a big blitz of the house today and I feel a bit more relaxed about the baby's arrival and not so much like everything is chaotic. I'm 38 weeks today and can't quite believe it! The braxton hicks are still coming thick and fast but no other signs as of yet. Been drinking my raspberry leaf tea and bouncing on my ball just in case they actually do help things along.
Hope everyone has had a great weekend
