Haha, and you never know what can happen. I never made the teens!
Sssssh you! I am nowhere near ready. Although I have packed a hospital bag mostly so feel good about that.
Tia - I know teeth and gums are commonly more affected in pg. Is it worth contacting the dentist if it is really bothering you? Have you tried flossing that gap?
PS We aren't too strict dates wise. Feel free to come up now if you fancy. I spanned both for a fortnightThere's a fairly recent list somewhere.

Thanks, will attempt to add myself to the list though very scary to have reached this point, and seeing some ladies jumping the queue makes it all very real.
I went to the dentist last week, and its just hassle to get there. Still have until next Weds off, so will wait until the start of next week and if still a problem go again.0 -
Apologies if I mess this up

Congrats to all babies born and all new mums! Hello to all newbies and get well to all those under the weather. also hope all with worries get them sorted.0 -
Congratulations T2D hope your little boy is on his way home soon :T
Makes you realise just how close we are!
Tia I had horrible dental problems a few weeks back, a chipped tooth I've had for a good year got an infection, it was agony  I think somehow teeth/gums get bad during pregnancy and you can't have whiskey to numb the pain haha x0 -
welcome tia, I've been relatively lucky with my teeth but I do end up with blood when I brush on more occasions than usual, but I'm putting that down to the increased blood running round my body at the moment.
It's certainly been the cause of the feeling I've been getting in one ear that it's full of water which bugs the heck out of me.0 -
Lilmiss, I know there are a couple nearer the top that have had their babies too but they haven't been announced on here so I didn't move them onto the other section! Huge congrats Time2deal on the safe arrival of Elliott! Hope you're both doing ok and get better over the next few days. Hopefully the fever will drop for you soon and you can get the huge amount of cuddles in ! Also great news he's breathing on his own x
SORRY IF TMI ALERT
I'm hoping some experienced mums can advsie here and again sorry if TMI. My wee one to be is usually quite quiet during the day and begins football training around 10/11pm !
Today she has been really active, more active than I would normally say, or that I'm aware of, and I noticed on wiping a thick white/almost yellow mucus. Not a huge amount, but enough to think er, what ? I'm just over 28 weeks, is this normal by anyone's book? Would the really active moment have anything to do with? I actuall have a growth scan tomorrow so at least will hopefully put my mind at risk.. however, in meantime... anything to phone MW about?
Any worries about anything phone your MW they would rather hear than not and it better to be safe than sorry. The MWs around me have told me they get really upset by people not calling them and feeling they don't want to bother them they rather you did call them you are not wasting their time! and if it is something to worry about they can make sure you get the care you need.:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120 -
runmichellerun wrote: »What's GTT please? Whatever it is I hope the results are good for everyone having the test.
Just wondering, does anyone just want to strip off completely when they get back home from work? Clothes are so uncomfortable to me right now. Or is it just me?
GTTis Glucose tolerate test you probably will only have if your baby is large than normal, you have excess fluid (will show up on a scan), history of diabetes in your family or are at risk. If you do get diagnosed with gestational diabetes most are managed though diet and exercise and measuring your blood sugar several times a day. they will measure you blood sugar hourly when you're in labour and usual induce if you haven't had the baby by 38-39 wks when than induce depends on you and your baby.:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120 -
