Claire don't let them tell you there's nothing they can do about your pain, I got a referral to a physio for my hip pain and it's the best thing I ever pushed for - it's made such a difference for me, I still get pain but it has much improved since I started having physio sessions and the physiotherapist doing intense work on the areas that are giving me grief on a weekly basis. Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

Maybe I'll ask them as it's really quite bad now.
Congratulations kynthia! Lovely name, glad all is well and you had a relatively straight forward time even though they sent you home the first time!0 -
I wasn't sure about TENS either but figured it wouldn't hurt to try and I've now used one in early labour twice. I honestly think it avoided me having to have heavier drugs both times, and kept me going until other options were available (pools and g&a). It does feel weird but even if you hate the slendertone things being in discomfort may well make the difference. If you don't like it then it comes off, no harm done!0

Hi Jen, I had really severe pain in my lower abdomen just before Christmas that at first the doc thought may have been gall stones. Turned out it was just the baby on a nerve. Lasted about three or four days but it was constant. Hope it's just that and nothing worse. Best just to give your mw or doc a call. X
thanks Squ1rrel - I hung off calling and it has eased off loads - I have had a very active baby last night and this morning so think your rightI will give them a call if it comes back just to be on the safe side.

Congratulations Kynthia !!
I'm excited as our nursery is getting started today and I'm off to pick up the car seat ( ordered it a while back but pram centre kept it for me ).
Had a mini panic yesterday in work, was working away and felt this breathtaking pain but was as if it was in my bum....it was agony, 40 mins later I felt it again. Nothing since. Wondering if it's baby moving around or something but it was really really ouch !!
Was speaking to a work mate who says she is psychics and she thinks baby is a boy as do I. I'm not into psychics as such ive never been to one but before I announced my pregnancy, the woman came over to my team and asked the girl next to me ( who's she's friends with) if she has any news for her as she feels a 'baby vibe' !! I ran away to the loo as I was only 9 weeks and hadnt broke the news. So that kind of freaked me out a bit !!!0 -
