hi Robot don't panic about the Fb group, I can't always match people up to their names but eventually it will get there.

re the knickers, I'm still in the ones I had already, granny pants, but have to admit I've got some which are 20's, some which are 24's and even one pair left from when I was at my largest of 30-32. I have bought some mini's though, just need to pluck up the courage to start wearing them, last time I wore that style they were forever falling down. Does anyone else find it scary to try new sizes in things or styles? or am I just a weird coward?
I've not really bought too many new clothes either, mostly they are ones which bought on my weightloss journey so they were technically too big before I got pregnant so I've got growing room. I did buy a maxi dress on Saturday because it was light and not too clingy round my waist and there's a bit of growing room in it which is still good.

Hi Ladies, just catching up :)

I thought I sent a PM to Daisie to join the FB group when it was first mentioned but I have just checked my sent items and its not there, so I just sent another to T2D and again no sent item.... can you let me know if you get it T2D.

Jen and Mrs C, you have both had invitations sent because it won't let t2d or me send another one - it says you have already had one! So all I can think of is that you need to check your junk email or deleted items in case you have missed it accidentally? There is not much else we can do as it won't let us send another invitation to an email address that has already had one! :(

went to see my community midwife today, and baby has moved :) she's now back to breach :( still she's got plenty of time for spinning around to the correct position. Midwife doesn't think i'll be working all the way to 39 weeks which was my original plan, and a conclusion I came to last week.
got a breastfeeding course thing on Friday, whooping cough jab next Friday and my antenatal course booked in for a day in August, so a few things ticked off my list.

I am leaving at 37 weeks and starting to think that is about right, I am feeling more and more tired.

Had my whooping cough jab yesterday. My arm still aches a bit but I did not notice any additional movement, like some have.

I am starting to wonder about me baby's position. I have always had a lop sided bump. Higher and harder on the right and felt all the kicks on the left. It has been like that for at least 14 weeks now. I though the baby would have moved at some point in that time.

I did ask the mw if she knew how the baby was laying at my 28w apt but she said it is too early to tell, even though she never tried.

I am 30 weeks today!!!! 9 weeks, 6 days to go!! Down to single figures :j

Thanks :) I am not even sure how FB groups work. Will check my junkmail :)

Jen, sounds like my last one position wise - had something under my right rib, and all the kicks on the left. Does sound like bum up under your ribs, so head down!! This one moves around still at almost 37 weeks but has been head down since 28. I'm surprised your MW didn't have a feel to check, but it's not important at that stage as they should have space to move.

I found this site fascinating for working out baby position & lots of info to make sure they get into the right position & stay there. I wish I'd found it earlier actually as there is a lot you can do from quite early pregnancy.

Mine hasn't dropped at all, not that MW is concerned as that's fine for a second baby. I was just looking forwards to getting rid of the heartburn but that's not happened yet :(

Jen, my midwife was able to tell me baby was head down at my last appointment at 27+5.

I guess I must have a pretty high bump too, as I've not needed different knickers, either this time or in my last pregnancy!

I'm working until nearly 37 weeks (ooh exactly 7 weeks to go / 21 working days because I'm taking holiday 2 days a week!). Getting a bit concerned as the shortlisting for maternity cover hasn't happened yet... I was really hoping for some overlap, but as long as they start in time for the new term that's the most important thing. I'll just have to write some really detailed handover notes.

Hope the hospital trip goes well today TCD.

Ladies, any advice on frequency of movements?

I am 27 weeks today. As some of you may know, I was really worried last week about lack of movement and ended up having a scan on Friday - everything was absolutely perfect.

Then, over the weekend and particularly on Monday she was moving like crazy. I was very excited to be able to see her moving my tummy for the first time on Monday!

Then since Monday, I haven't felt much. I have felt the odd movement but very few really strong kicks. Lying down after having a cold drink and sugary snack never seems to work with my girl, never has. Poking and shouting (nicely!) at her does sometimes get a reaction though!

Is this normal? I feel really worried about it but am thinking I am probably stressing over nothing? I really don't want to contact the MFAU after last week, and everything being absolutely fine on the scan. As it is, my sister (doctor) thinks they only scanned me to get rid of me and there was never anything really to worry about!

Any advice? I just hate days when I don't feel lots of nice strong movements and I haven't really since Monday :(

If Jen and Mrs C want to pm me their email address I will try and invite them again, but it says must be approved by admin. My invite went into my social tab in my gmail inbox.

Daisie - have you considered getting one of the home dopplers. I have this one. I hardly ever use it now, but did earlier in the week when baby had been a bit quieter than normal for a few days.

At 27 weeks you will get a quick very strong 'thump thump' which I can sit listening too for ages! Don't forget to get some gel as it really doesn't work without it.
