Ooh I love the sight of all those baby clothes on the line!
Skintchick I've got SPD and what you describe sounds very much like it. If you talk to your midwife she should be able to refer you to a physiotherapist who can realign your pelvis for you and possibly give you a support bandage too (think giant tubigrip!) also you can apply an icepack to the sore bit for 10 minutes to reduce the swelling and inflammation. I'm having physio once a week at the mo and the difference is noticeable.
I'm quite lucky as well in that the occupational health at work are forking out for private physio once a week and have given me a temporary parking pass (they're like gold dust where I work) so I can park next to the building and don't have to bus/walk in. Just try to rest as much as you can, keep your legs together when you can and try not to twist your pelvis.0 -

I definitely wash all new things, in non-bio, because I don't want to take any chances with my precious newborn.
EDIT - not meant to sound judgemantal! I hope it doesn't. I'm just explaining my train of thought on this.
obviously by fine they meant it didn't affect their baby in any way, i.e they didn't get any rashes or illnesses from wearing brand new clothes. I think your post was just a little bit dramatic mentioning dead babies! like I said I have washed her vests, sleepsuits and Moses basket bedding etc, with fairy non bio, as I guess that's what she'll be living in for a while
you did sound judgemental to be honest, maybe you could word your posts a little bit more kindly in future, but never mind

eeesh the heat is awful tonight! I'm roasting. baby is currently poking her foot right into my rib, which isn't uncomfortable at all, hehe.0 -
Skintchick - sounds like SPD, I'd tell Drs ASAP as my friend waited to see if it'd pass & is now in crutches. Hopefully you won't be as bad but early help is important.
I'm doing Lazy Daisy Birthing classes, (yoga, breathing & guided meditation) & we've had a lady with SDP who wasn't allowed to do the twists or undercarriage stretches. Have you told your teacher, they should be able to help.
Talking of Lazy Daisy, it's our couples class tomorrow - I'm really looking forward to it! It seemed So far away when I booked, & I was worried I wouldn't make it to the class! I've had a few niggles low down in my muscles, slightly left of centre, which I think are birth defect related not BH related, but midwife hasn't answered my text.
That's a Lovely photo SunshineI really enjoyed doing all the 2nd hand washing, so I might as well wash the new stuff, we don't have much new & fair point re factories being dirty.
Husband finished painting our room today! yay! (Well, not the fireplace/feature wall but that's a nice enough colour to wait anyway). & he's finally measured the Moses basket & swing crib so we can hopefully get mattresses after class tomorrowPlease forgive the badly spelt alias... Had my eye on a highchair I want for a while and noticed its got £30 off today at boots so I took the plunge and ordered it even though I won't need it for a while, when I went through checkout there was also an offer on for 999 points too so i'm well chuffed
It's this one....http://www.boots.com/en/Chicco-Polly-High-Chair-Baby-World_1423089/

Thats lovely teabag, I do like a good bargain!
I've never heard of lazy daisy classes before robots they sound really interesting. Hugs for the niggles I hope your midwife gets back to you soon x0 -
that's the type of highchair I've been recommended teabag, having a serious think about putting an order in as well.
my sister came round today, about lunchtime ish, to help with the finishing off of the craft room, just got a box or two of odds and sods to do at the most, but it's at that annoying stage where it still looks a mess and you just don't know what to do with things. I also sorted out my toiletries boxes - I used to be a member of the use it up challenges on the beauty threads (for years) and still have loads but there's a box going up in the loft and I've sent my sister home with a bag full, and I've listed what's where so we don't buy more thinking we're out of things.
Can't wait to get the nursery finished, but it's now down to hubby, just wonder how long it will take him to take the cupboards out of the room and make a start now there's nowt stopping him.
hope you're all enjoying your weekends.0 -

Ok I will tell them at the hospital on Tuesday. I'm seeing my osteopath tomorrow too so maybe she can do something.
On highchairs we had the Ikea Antilop which is cheap. It's very plain so really quick to wipe down. Worth considering if you haven't bought a highchair yet. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Second skintchick on the highchair, we have a padded reclining 3 height one from toys r us and it is an absolute ba*tard to clean, once the seat /straps gets covered in tomato based product it is never as clean again. Also although they fold they still take space. The ikea is practical, easy to clean and apart if you need to transport it. We cannot afford a new one so will use the one we have but I love my sisters ikea one.Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. can I ask a couple of personal questions?
my nips seem to have a creamy coloured crust on them, never noticed it before pregnancy is it normal?
also how do you ladies with 'normal' nips cope? mine are usually inverted/flat, well until the minute I pregnant they were, now they hurt when I lay on them, when I take my bra off, when they're hit in the shower by the spray - how do you normal ladies cope with this? lol0
