Congratulations Crabapple! He obviously just couldn't wait any longer to get out and see the big world :-) glad to hear you're both OK and got home quickly. He sounds like a tinker already aiming at his dad ;-)
Smartcat I hope you are on the mend soon, very sorry you are unable to have the water birth you planned but very glad your little one is OK!
Samtoby and MSA how are you guys doing now? Hopefully you're feeling much better and I hope you have your meds now MSA!
AFM; no linea niagra for me but I am reasonably fair skinned, I do have a bit of downy hair on my belly but not much. A couple of spots on my chest and like a couple of others have said I like rash type thing just below my belly button.
I want to be super motivated and get dressed for work but...hardly any of my work clothes are in any way comfortable and that's putting me off. Makes me laugh as I'm by no means a shopper or fashionista but I was so down when I had to pack away my work clothes as they weren't fitting any more; I miss my little smart suit and a couple of my dresses :-( quite glad that a lot of what i have are 'classic' cuts/styles so it will always look smart and never really out of date.
Currently I have two skirts, 3 tops and two dresses which still fit, although on of the dresses is now becoming too short as bump pulls it up! That said I'm no different when it comes to casual wear; two maternity t-shirts, two maternity dresses and a pair of over bump jeans which are now increasingly uncomfortable :-\
Part of me wishes I had spent more on some maternity clothes (other than bras) just so I had options but then when I'm at home I usually in pjs of some sort and I've been wearing a lot of my pre-weightloss clothes which I hadn't gotton rid of yet!************************************

Congrats Crabapple! Great to hear you got to have another waterbirth too!
Smartcat I'm really sorry to hear about your ankle, I hope you're not in too much pain0 -
I'm not going to congratulate you Crabapple since I said I wouldn't be impressed if anyone beat me! Just joking- congratulations! Glad you're both home and happy already! :T
Lush - it may be worth checking out somewhere like ASOS for some cheapish maternity wear whilst you'll still get your money's worth! Even some of my maternity clothes don't fit comfortable any more (mainly tops and trousers) so I'm really glad I bought some dresses, even though people were telling me not to buy too much as it would be a waste of money! Pah, it's alright for people who wear uniform to work or wear casual clothes all day but I had to be comfortable and smart at work which means I had to buy more clothes.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Thinking of you Birdie.
For anybody who hasnt seen the FB group I fell down the stairs on friday and broke my ankle in 2 places. Im in pot and crutches at the minute but need operating on but they want baby our first so going up to the hispital for an assessment tomorrow about sweep or induction. Once baby is out I can be operated on.
Not at all what we planned. Looks like breastfeeding might not be an option due to post op painkillers and water birth no longer feasable.
Gutted to say the least. In a lot of pain but hopefully ill be seen about the ankle as well tomorrow.
Hubby being amazing, has turned into a full time carer for me.
On the topic of bras I got some sleep bras from mothercare and they have been brilliant for sleeping in with a pair of jama bottoms as I get so hot at night. They have clips on as well for folding down for feeding.0 -
Morning everyone! There is a boy run going on at the moment! Congratulations Crabapple!

Congratulations crab apple! I hope my birth goes as well as that! Glad you are home.
That's a good point about the dressing gown Kynthia, I'm definitely taking one, I want to find a thin dark coloured one. And a big dark towel. Hoping I can get them cheap in the supermarket.0
