Hi gals,
Sorry for not being brave enough to officially move over to this thread, and for being one of those annoying people who posts to ask questions!
But...I'm 31+5 and have been leaking 'something' for the last few days. I assumed it was a little bit of pee given how my bump has moved around, but today I'm getting some browny cm. Pale brown on a pantiliner but dark brown occasionally in what I can only describe as egg white! I tend to have a little gush when I get up in the mornings, but have also been soaking through a pantiliner 2/3 times a day.
I had this a couple of weeks ago, followed by what was potentially a bit of mucus plug and went to the PAU where they did a trace, internal and scan and all was fine, so I don't know whether I should be calling again for more of the same?
Baby has been moving fine and my bump was measuring spot on at my midwife appointment on Monday.
Am I a paranoid first time mum? I feel bad everytime I have to ditch work to go running to the hospital!0 -
Derby, although an increase in discharge is common, you know you need to go and get checked out
This is the one time in your life when nobody is going to mind you seeking out a bit of peace of mind, so give your midwife or hospital triage a ring. It's really no problem to check things out and ask for help and advice, so don't let anyone make you feel bad about it (especially yourself!).

I would get it checked out too derby, nobody is going to mind
well I had a bit of a dramatic morning as I went to the midwife and my blood pressure was high, so high in fact she sent me to the hospital for monitoring and even advised me not to drive myself! even though I felt fine, so my mum took me. I was there for a few hours, they took my bloods, strapped me to that monitor thing for an hour that goes on your tummy, and I had a little clicker I had to press each time baby moved. I had my blood pressure done 4 times then they let me home! they said it had gone down a lot so I just have to see the midwife again next week.
glad everything's okay but I'm so ready for her to come now, the worrying is getting me down.0 -
Ah I'm sorry to hear that Fiery - glad that you're feeling better now. Hope your bp stays nice and low from now on. Do they know what's causing it? I hope you're chilling out this evening. It's so strange to get to this stage in pregnancy wondering when our little ones will come

We have a nearby sling group too and will be paying them a visit once bump arrivesDS needs to go in the buggy to the childminders at the moment, but we're hoping that if we can manage with a sling for a few months, DS will be OK to walk and we can avoid buying a double buggy. In reality he can walk it now, but it takes ages and ends up so tired when we get home that he doesn't want any tea. We'll probably still get a buggy board just in case he gets tired, but the double buggies seem to take up so much space!
You could consider slinging your toddler on your back, and using a pram for the baby. If you got a soft structured carrier, either full or half buckles (like a connecta or Ergo) it would be easy and quick to put him on your back when he is tired.Hi gals,

Definitely get checked - it's probably nothing but you can;t take chances in pregnancy. How many weeks are you? You can lose your show gradually over weeks and weeks, and I think it rebuilds itself if its early, so it may just be that.fireyfirenze wrote: »I would get it checked out too derby, nobody is going to mind

They always tell you not to drive yourself if you have to go in during pregnancy for something unexpected. I think it's in case you are in labour. Don;t read too much scariness into it
Hope everyone is OK this evening. Is anyone else getting a lot of rudeness from people? I am beginning to lose count of the times people have said to me "You're massive!" (I'm actually not) or "You're really waddling now!". And today my CHURCH PASTOR of all people actually MIMICKED the way I'm walking at the moment! I find it really rude and upsetting. Is this happening to anyone else? And how do I deal with it without looking all hormonal? DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

hi skintchick, I'm 24 weeks and have baseline padding on my tummy, but my bump popped out last week, went to a meeting yesterday and got comments about it and that it looks like I won't get away without getting a bump (er no sh.. Sherlock I'm pregnant I'm bound to get a bump!). it's not like I've gained stones so far, I've only gained 4 lbs and baby is growing well so I assume the rest of the fat is redistributing itself into my bump. People can just be so unthinking.0

Sorry to hear people are being rude Skintchick. No advice as not really had it, although was in supermarket recently getting frozen spinach and was convinced the old guy next to me said you look ready to pop out......I gave him a strange look and he repeated himself.....like Popeye (the spinach).
I am big but one week a family friend said oooooh neat bump a week later she said you are massive so I take it with a pinch of salt.Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. no they don't know what's causing it, but yesterday iv got a feeling it was because I was really stressed when I got there, because we have bees living in the bricks of our house and they keep finding their way in so that morning I had spent ages battling with one in the bathroom trying to get it out so I could clean my teeth and I'm terrified of them! hopefully got some pest control coming on Monday to sort them out
congratulations on doing all your work, yay! must be such a relief0
