Moonbabe I'm so glad the ECV worked for you

I saw my doula today and as she no longer works as a doula (she doulaed for me last time) we agreed a really good price for her doing it for me again. I'm so pleased she's going to be there again, she's so lovely and somehow it feels so right to have her again.

Everytime I look at the list I seem to move up - number 17 now and baring in mind the first 5 are all boldies that means I won't be far off the top ten soon!

As it was raining today decided to have a pub lunch at a place with an indoor playcentre to let DS burn off a bit of energy and let me have some peace and quiet! Also, I know from a previous trip that their lasagne with salad doesn't upset my blood sugars! A nice start to maternity leave. Although I won't be doing that too often as we're supposed to be economising now our income will be dropping.

Ooh I forgot to share - I bought a secondhand Storksak today! They are v expensive change bags. I really lusted after this one last time I was pregnant - it's tan leather and gorgeous but £200 _pale_ I got this one for £50

I'm really pleased that the ECV worked for you Moonbabe!

We almost have a roof on our extension now - nearly all the tiles are on. So pleased that it's finally stopped raining so the builders could get on with it, looks like it really will be done before baby arrives!

Working tomorrow but then I'm taking Wednesday off, which I am really looking forward to. My first child free day at home in ages, as I've chosen a day when DS will be at the childminders. Tried to do that last Wednesday, but ended up going to Coventry to collect kitchen units. This time I really am going to take a proper day off! Especially as I might be working on Saturday again.

has everyone that is planning on breastfeeding bought a breast pump? just suddenly had a thought that I'm planning on trying but I don't have one. the ones I've seen were really expensive. do you need one? I'm quite confused about breast feeding! I'm guessing if you ever wanted to go out for a couple of hours without your baby you would need to express? also iv read about ladies who need to express just to get some comfort if their breasts get too full? argh I'm back in worry mode. wish I could calm down a bit!

My SIL has lent me her breast pump but I took it out the box the other night and it doesnt seem to have instructions and I do not have a clue how it's supposed to work!!! Think I'll be asking her for some help !
