Rasberry I collected mine from Argos, whereas I guess Boots sell their own brand nappies so probably wouldn't want to promote aldi.
Sunshine I am sore down there too, baby seems to have dropped so big time waddling at present.Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."Official DFW Nerd 1365

Congratulations on the arrival of Erin Rose sophiasmum, glad you made it to the birth centre in time!
Mrs Muffin I've been very impressed with my hospital too and the level of care, I already knew they were good though as that's where I had DS. Looks like my blood sugars are back under control, had a slight blip yesterday lunchtime, so will not eat another wrap until after baby is born as the 2 times I've had a wrap I've had high blood sugars after.
hope those of you sorting them out managed to get your hospital bags sorted, I need to start thinking about doing mine!
For all those feeling anxious I don't think anything anyone can say will make you feel less anxious, I was terrified before having DS. I won't go into details for fear of scaring the first time mums but his birth was traumatic and ended in an emergency c-section, but despite that I'm not scared this time as I know what labour feels like, and I know if things do start to go wrong the hospital do know what they're doing. I suppose what I'm trying to say is it's probably not as bad as you will imagine it is in your head beforehand. It's only natural to worry about everything though, I know I did prior to DS.
Giving birth isn't a daily occurance for us, but the midwives and doctors deliver babies all day everyday so we're in good hands!
moonbabe having had an emergency c-section I would like to avoid having to have a c-section at all this time, however my friends who had elective sections recovered much quicker than I did from my emergency c-section. I think that if my baby is breech at my 36 week scan I would elect for a planned section though, because I don't want to end up having another emergency section if the birth starts to go wrong. That probably sounds a bit contradictory but I know what I mean even if I haven't explained it very well! I hope your baby turns in the next few weeks.
preggosaurus hope you're baby turns the right way too!
hope all goes well at your growth scan next week credit_crunch.
hope you start feeling better soon disney
sorry to hear you've been bleeding emmaj30, hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about. I have had unexplained bleeding in both my pregnancies and have a healthy DS and am 34 weeks with my 2nd baby and the bleeding got quite heavy this time round, so it doesn't always mean the worst is happening.
hugs to those of you suffering pelvic pain and those having a difficult time.
I've officially finished work for maternity leave now, I can't quite believe it makes everything seem a bit more real. My colleagues gave me a beautiful basket full of baby goodies, including some hand knitted items by a couple of the ladies, which I found extra special as they've taken the time and effort to make them specially for me (well for baby). Looking forward to not having to get up until DS wakes of a morning, and not having to commute but think I will miss work a bit!0 -

Hi all. Evie Olivia arrived this morning at 12:25, 6lb 15oz. Managed a homebirth as planned which was amazing and she was born still in her waters which is supposed to be very lucky. We are having some feeding issues so having to express and syringe feed every two hours but hopefully it will get better over the next few days.
Good luck to all the pregnant ladies and congratulations to any new mummies I've missed

Congratulations to everyone - especially my due-date-buddies, Mary and Vicky. Mary, imagine the little darling keeping you waiting 11 days over, and then arriving in the bathroom in seconds!
My darling son has a name, as I finally pinned OH down over it. He is Daniel Mark, and weighed 8lb 3oz at birth (as I forgot to say at the time). He is lovely, if very suspicious of being put down, ever....
Some reckon he looks like Stewie from Family Guy. OH reckons he looks like the Scientist from the Muppets.....
Best of luck to everyone, and bumps and babies!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Also congratulations to clolla - a third baby girl still in the sac....wow lucky. XTwenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. Hello Ladies,
It's time for me to join you over here, I'm 27 weeks today which I still can't quite believe!! I'm more of a lurker really, and try to read everyday if I get chance but hoping to be able to post more as time goes on.
Bit of info about me and hubbie:
I'm 27, he's 29.
First Baby - team blue - although we haven't told any family so they think we're team yellow!
Due Date: 31st August 2014
We got married in August 2013 and were very lucky to fall pregnant within 4 months, actually found out on Xmas Eve.
We're both teachers, so only have 7 weeks until we break up - I can't wait!
