I bought some 'comfort bras' from the supermarket for about £8 and have found them to be a godsend! They're not attractive, but I've stopped caring! Worth a try Claire.
How is your little man 4 weeks old already, BZ?!
I'm beyond fed up of getting so many texts! Why do people feel the need for a daily update, they know I'd tell them when he's born! I know they all mean well but gah, I'm not a fan of texting at the best of times so having to constantly send them same messages out to people when I'm trying to *not* think about the fact that my baby isn't here and I'm fed up and tired and bored and uncomfortable really isn't helping!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Thanks might have a look at those type then!
Birdie that must be so irritating!0 -
Claire I've been in a similar place - I started off a 34 now I measure at a 38 band but that's way too loose so I'm in 36's. When I last went, two weeks ago, bought a E cup as I had been in a D thinking that they would fit and give me a smidge more space to breathe/grow a little before getting measured for nursing bras and I'm already pushing at the edges :-( second the crop top/sleep style though. I bought two sleep/nursing bras from mothercare quite early on and they are so so comfortable, I plan on practically living in them once I start leave ;-)
Another day of a super active bean today, not sure what's gotten in to her but she's grooving away :-)************************************

Same here baby is having a disco! Might be due to the huge box of chocolates DH got me...
It's just so annoying buying a bra I'll probably just wear for a few weeks but I can't go out without one on! I'll look shapeless & might leak! So will be stuck in the Primark ones til I can try something else.0 -
Finding it so hard to find a bra that can last for the next few weeks.
As I've got small boobs I've just worn normal ones up until about a week ago as the wires barely touch them anyway. However I noticed the other day one bra I can no longer wear as the wire was starting to rub on the side so decided to buy some non wire ones - but still want ones that are a bit padded partly for shape and partly incase of leakage!
So normally I'm a 32 back but I'm now measuring as a 36. I ended up getting a pack of both 34 & 36 bras from Primark but one is rubbing a bit and not that comfortable after a day of wearing it. So today I tried on 5 bras in debenhams & 2 in m&s but none were right and I was so annoyed as it means I'm left with the Primark ones until I can find something else!
34 feels rather tight, 36 is slipping a bit or in some cases feels comfortable but because I'm quite petite whatever cup size I try in a 36 it's like rubbing up high near my arm pit like I'm not tall enough or something?!
I said to DH maybe I'll just wear padded string bikinis before I start wearing nursing bras! Too early to get them now so I'm stuck at a weird in between stage! And don't want to spend loads if my back size goes down once my bump goes after the birth.
Sorry bit of a bra essay there!
I got my bras from mothercare - they are technically maternity bras but don't look horrid or frumpy - they aren't wired but DO have padding in which I find is good because being small boobed too I've always been used to wearing padded bras. I also got mine when they were doing a sale so I got two bras for £16 I think which isn't bad. You could always sell them on afterwards as well if you have to spend more than you're intending to.
Tbh I've found there are certain things you have to spend ridiculous money on through pregnancy (much to my annoyance, I usually try to get away with scrimping and saving as much as possible everywhere I go) and one of those things was maternity bras. The others have been maternity jeans and stretch mark creamOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

Imgot some good maternity bras from m and s a few years ago, theyhad little clips that come undone so you can flop a booby out with one hand, might be worth a look?
I had my 27 week appt this morning, got measured for the first time ever and she said I was bang on 27 week measurement. I presume that's a good thing?!0 -

Didn't even get to look in mothercare so will have a nose next time, thanks.
I spent money on maternity jeans as I wear them probably 3 times a week since week 12! Creams I've had a mum to be kit off someone for my birthday that had some in & a very expensive clarins oil from my boss at Xmas, so luckily didn't spend any on those!
Yeah I am intending to get some with the clips Mary but not until the baby is here - or I will buy them at maybe week 37/38 as I've been told that's a good time to get nursing bras.
Just this awkward inbetween stage right now!0 -
Woke up to being covered in milk - it was all down my vest top! Feeling much better just taking it easy as told to!
