Try not to worry squirrel, it's hard but it is their problem not yours. I left work this week (planned for a long time) and they only conducted interviews last Friday. Felt awful leaving the colleague who has to pick up the slack in the meantime but the important thing is to concentrate on looking after ourselves and our babies, and there was no way I could work any longer!
I seem to have one ankle that has started to swell up, the other is fine?! It is worse as the day goes on, so feet up as much as possible.
I'm waiting for my 2 year old to wake up from her nap. If she doesn't I'll have to get her up soon else she'll be a mare to get to bed (although daddy does bedtime!) but I am enjoying the peace!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Thanks all. Hope you're all ok, just an update - my OH phoned my docs and turns out the midwife who did my discharge hadn't even written urgent on the prescription form so that's why they weren't going to have it ready until Tuesday!!! He explained the situation and they got it done straight away. I now have my medication....phew.
Sorry I've not been much good offering others advice the last few days. Just been having a real tough time.
Sunshine I have a low lying placenta too. They said in 95% of cases it goes up to where it should be by 32 weeks so I'm not worried about it. So don't worry about it - I'm sure it'll rectify itself xxxOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

Evening everyone,
Visit from the midwife support worker woman (can't remember her actual title) went really well and was so much help! Learnt lots of new things and she is lovely - she even said she'd try and get me as one of her ladies following baby's birth which I would love!
Got bf a v-day card from me and one from baby (who knew you could get daddy ones!?) A couple of pairs of socks (union jack ones and superman ones) along with a chocolate novelty... I told him not to get me anything but then ten minutes before I left work to come home for the appointment I got a gorgeous vase filled with some of my favourite flowers delivered to the office :-) bless him. Cooked us a lush dinner after a quick trip to the supermarket :-)
Baby has been dancing Most of the day but even more so after dinner - will need to have sticky toffee pudding and custard more often ;-)************************************

Glad you've got your medication now MSA. Hope you have a good, relaxing weekend and feel loads better.
A friend has had her baby today... she wasn't even due until early March! Thankfully baby is well and just being kept in for observation to make sure she starts to feed well etc. I'm jealous though!Really wasn't expecting to be overtaken by her!

Mysec I'm sorry to hear you had such a rubbish time, those girls sound horrible
I can understand why you're reluctant to go back, is there anything that your friend who works there can do to help?
Smart its really hard to pass the driving test now, they fail you for pretty much anything. The only he can do is keep having a go, but I appreciate that its a lot of time and money, I found that my instructor using a replica test sheet on my lessons helped me get used to the test environment, is this something his instructor could do?
I have missed so much on here just from being offline for a few days its mad! I started a new course so thats keeping me busy and I've just got in from work, only to head off to my second job at 9:30! I'll get back anywhere between 4:30 and 6am, then we've got a midwife appt at 9:30!
Thankfully I'm off with my lovely son next week as it's half term so am looking forward to some quality time with him, and we get to see the little lady agajn on monday so that will be nice0 -
I would hate to have to sit my driving test now. It sounds really complicated, I only did the first theory that came in and hazard perception was not even around.
I am another one looking forward to half term with my son....... and essay writing...... lol.

Thanks samtoby, I'm feeling a little calmer and thankfully my hospital stay is now starting to fade into a distant memory, long may it continue to do so.
OH has been fantastic this evening, cooked me a wonderful dinner, ran me a lavender bath and sat with me and washed and rubbed my back whilst I was in there, then produced a valentines card and a new charm for my Pandora bracelet (a huge surprise as we had said no presents). He has truly been amazing and I don't know what I'd do without him.
I've also cancelled all my plans for the weekend including my yoga. OH and I are going to spend the whole weekend in bed mooching and snuggling
How are you now samtoby? I hope you're starting to feel better too now you're home and not at the hospital either x
Thanks birdiethat's unfair you've been overtaken by your friend! Are they planning to induce you, or are you going to give it a bit longer to see if baby decides to come out of his own accord?!

Has anyone suffered from really bad leg cramps? I keep getting woken up with cramps in my thighs and calves on whatever side I have been lying on, but these usually went away once I rolled onto the other side. But last night I was getting sharp horrible cramps in my calves and they are still really hurting this morning. Is it something I should be worried about? Is there anything I can/should do?

Moonbabe-I think leg cramps are fairly common in pregnancy-I have had them occasionally during the night, until last night when I was up 4 times with it! I remember it from last time round, but can't remember if there is anything to help it.
MSA and Samtoby-hope you are both keeping better0
