If we had the space we'd have separate beds!
We're both super light and super wriggly sleepers so keep each other awake all the time! So what if people think it's unromantic to sleep apart... a good night's sleep is so important!
Just bought the Radox with the clary sage in it. Willing to give anything a try now and it only cost £1 so worth the risk!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Oh what a difference a day makes !
Feeling a million times better today, got up and out the house with my mum and had a browse around the shops then came home took dog a lovely walk and then managed some housework and made diner ( usually OH cooks) I'm now soaking in the bath
I'm back in work tomorrow but only one day then it's the weekend
Hope you are all well and thanks again for letting me rant yesterday when I was feeling sorry for myself !0 -

Just everyday seems something else to contend with at the minute. Then he'll have to find his own way home if you get kept in! I'm sure he's a great driver who just gets nervous at the test.
Spent all day painting DS's room today - looks really nice and just needs some touching up.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Maybe get him to call the test centre every few days to try to get a cancellation slot? That used to work for people I knew when we were all doing our tests and some people failed and needed to rebook but didn't want the usual ridiculous waiting time to get an appt!0 -
Smartcat my cousin failed six times before he passed, the test just got him really worked up. I'm sure your oh will pass soon :-)
As for us we got a letter telling us that we may have been overpaid tax credits this year :-( not something I wanted to hear when I was already worried about money for next year! Also can't work out if mat pay affects the award for the year you take mat leave or the following year? Good thing I'm only taking six months really :-\
Joking with my dad yesterday we decided it would be most convenient for baby girl to make her appearance the Saturday before her due date hehe not likely just because its convenient but there is a history of all babies being early on my side and only neice and nephew going over on bfs side....failing that midweek would be nice :-P
We have the community midwife support worker (think that's her title) coming to the house today to do a 1-to-1 version of the antenatal session that got cancelled as the person didn't turn up to open the venue for us!
S'pose I should get move on and get off to work; four more weeks today until I finish! Feels a little bit like a lifetime************************************

Thank goodness its Friday! & Im going away with friends for weekend (happy valentines day DH!)
We are another pair with sleeping 'issues' - last weekend our DDs stayed at their grandparents on the Saturday - Queue excitement, as they sleep in a double bed which would be empty for the night! DH went in there and me in our bed - lush nights sleep, if you don't count the x 4 toilet trips.
Hope you are out today Mysecretalias x0 -
Happy Friday ladies! And happy Velentine's Day! OH asked me what I wanted, anything at all to cheer me up and all I could think of was my baby!
Not sure how he's going to manage that!
Sorry to hear about your OH failing his test Smartcat.Mine passed on his 2nd attempt and is still very much a 'new' driver in that he still thinks really hard about what he's doing. I hate being a passenger when he's driving! We only have 1 car and usually I drive 90% of the time but I'm now too big to drive and OH has been taking the car to work so he can make a quick getaway when the time comes, I'm just hoping that a couple of weeks of driving around by himself has made him a bit of a more relaxed driver so our drive to hospital is less stressful.
Hope you're feeling better today MSA.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Same here Birdie!
I passed my test at 17 but DH didn't pass his until he was about 24? And he's not very confident so I do nearly all the driving, he can walk to work so he doesn't get much practise in and he's never had his own car as it's never been needed so it's sort of perpetuated itself. So even though it was years ago now he still thinks about what he's doing too.
However every time we go to the hospital he drives. So I know when the time comes he should be confident!
He also drives better when I'm not in the car with him. I make him nervous - but he makes me nervous! And I think he's worried about scratching the car because although it's paid for out of out joint account like everything else, it's sort of seen as mine as it's mainly me driving it, I chose it etc
He did pass first time though,( and I've backed into a bollard, scratched someone else's and my car, bumped into kerbs and all sorts over the years lol )0 -
Thanks for all your kind wishes. I am discharged from Hospital monitoring but if my legs and arms get pins and needles badly I have to go back. I had a scan of my legs and I have low blood flow in my lower legs which will rectify after babe is born so it will just gradually get worse. I am feeling ok today had a few days off work and on leave next week so I can properly put my feet up! Been a bit of a scare but I am glad I have been checked out. Midwife appointment at the end of the month, not long now and I will be 28 weeks. Hope you are all having a good day

Morning Ladies,
May I join your group?
I was on the 12 week group but somehow missed the 12-24 group, not sure how as I was on it with DD??!!?
I'm 30+3 (I think) and due 21st April
I have a DD, known informally as Frog, and she's 2 next month. It's definitely been a harder pregnancy for me this time with a toddler in tow!
