Hi all apologies for posting and running earlier. Unfortunately I collapsed at home and ended up in an ambulance being rushed to hospital. They're keeping me in for a couple of days, they think it could be dehydration, an ear infection, and baby sitting on a blood vessel which is causing the dizziness and lightheadedness (which I'm still getting several hours later) so they have been monitoring me and baby. Baby is thankfully fine, it's just me they have to sort out now. Done lots of tests and more due tomorrow. Bit depressing really as it's the first time in ages I've not been with my OH overnight and it's a bit upsetting. Just lying here on the ward in the dark deciding to come on here for a bit of company instead. Sorry as I haven't read back over the last couple of pages but thanks for anyone who offered advice to my post this morning as I'm sure you all did. I'll read back tomorrow morning, just so exhausted right now I am going to try and get some sleep.
Hope everyone else is well xxxOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

Oh dear, that all sounds horribly dramatic. I'm glad the baby is okay and hope you are too. I bet your poor OH is fretting about the pair of you.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

Thanks con and kynthia it was a bit too much for me earlier, I never like people to make a fuss over me normally, and earlier I had three paramedics and two ambulances outside my house
thankfully nothing was wrong with baby and that's all I care about to be honest, but I'm hoping tomorrow AM they can tell me what's wrong and hopefully send me home, am already sick of being here and it's only been 12 hours.
Doesn't help either that I literally seem to be on the loudest ward in the entire hospital. There are actually people sat here right now in the middle of the night having conversations on speakerphone with people and others sat there chatting across the room to other people in their beds, like it's the middle of the day. You'd have thought for a bloody antenatal ward it would be fairly quiet given that it's full of pregnant tired ladies, but unfortunately I seem to have picked the night that all the bloody south London chavs are indid just have a visit from my midwife friend though who is here on nightshift so that cheered me up a bit. Still hopeful I will get some sleep at some point

Oh and it made me laugh just now reading back about you talking about mrsa swabs, had to have those earlier today down in triage, first they swabbed my nose and then she just went 'now open your legs I need to get at your groin' OH nearly spat his drink out!! And then as she was swabbing my groin, very ungracefully, someone almost walked in! She had to shout 'mrsa' really loudly to stop them getting an eyeful of my lady parts! Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

Omg lol! I just had to do nose and back of throat!
Ugh that's so annoying being on a ward like that!
It was really noisy when I had to stay in (mainly the midwives laughing down the corridor and woman next to me talking in her sleep!) but not that bad! Sounds like you really did pick a day when the chavs are all in!
My mum said when she had me there was a woman next to her who was like that, really loud and when her kids came in to visit her she was swearing at them, my mum just wanted to go home!0 -
So sorry you've been suffering mysecretarias. Hopefully they will sort you out so you can go back home soon. Hospitals are not relaxing at the best of times.
Hate to tell you though, but by the time you've had this baby probably a few random people will have seen your ladyparts!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls
