mysecretalias - we might have been on ECG at the same time! I do hope you are feeling better and they can find out what has happened.

DVT clinic for me today at 10:30am so will see what they want to do. I was quite dizzy last night and I just had to stay on the sofa, but this morning so far I 'seem' ok.

sophiasmum - hope you are good - glad your over from the other thread.

Sorry to hear about the drama MSA. Hope the tests go well for you today, and for you too Sam. Look after yourselves. :)

I'm officially fed up now. :( Too lumpy to sleep well and every bloody time I move in bed OH starts then just huffs at me when he realises that I'm just having a wriggle and not going into labour! It's not my fault!!! :( The rain finally hit us yesterday so couldn't go out and it's even worse today so I'm stuck inside. Boooooo, pity party for one this morning! :o
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Con - hope you're feeling better soon. I had my 36 week scan booked at my 33 week appointment. But might be worth ringing up?

cllola - glad you got the LL issues sorted. Must have been very stressful!

claire - according to my notes I should be seeing her every week from now on. Since 29 weeks, I've seen her twice! I know I'm seeing the consultant (or probably one of his minions!) but just feel my antenatal care has been extremely disjointed for my 1st. I expected better!
I had MRSA which was picked up before an op a few years ago and had this nasty shower gel and talc. Yuk :p

emz - you have loads of appointments! That's really good.

mysecretalias - hope you are able to come home soon. That ward sounds like my worst nightmare!

Ohhh Birdie that's a great idea to design birth announcements now. Will add that to my list. Hope you can find something to do today - my recommendation is start a new series. I'm currently hooked on criminal minds :o

We finally have a nursery after all of our issues!!! Very pleased. Now just need to put everything that's stacked up in our spare rooms into the nursery now.

How come you're not then Becca? Does she just not have any spaces left so you can't go for a while? You do seem to have less appts than you should. So pleased your nursery is done, I've been doing the same thing this week, putting everything away that was in bags or in the loft!

Two more days of work to go! Lovely and sunny today which is nice after the rain yesterday morning.
  • Cllola - glad you got your tenancy sorted out. Not the sort of stress you need while pregnant

Samtoby - hope all goes well at your check this morning :)

Mysecretalias - that must have been really frightening for you. Hope everything is ok. Hugs x

Emz - wonder why the consultant and mw are booking different dates for your sweep. Is there a reason the mw wants to do it early?

Birdie - Hope your little one decides to get a move on so you can meet him soon :D

Becca - hooray for your nursery being ready :) it'll probs be summer before I'm doing up the nursery when DD2 moves to another room.

AFM - seeing mw this afternoon, then my next appt will be the pre- op next week  it seems so near but far away at the same time.

MSA - that all sounds rather scary, i'm glad baby is ok and you are being well looked after even though the other patients are inconsiderate. Hopefully you won't have to stay long!

Samtoby - hope the appt today goes well.

Birdie - *sending you labour vibes* Just realised how weird that is...obviously we are willing a baby to come soon but it is almost as if you are saying to someone "Hope you're in lots of pain soon!"

Claire - Well it turns out that the same agent deals with the other 5 houses that the landlords own so i think they are rather loyal to him. We have officically started the search for our own house though so after all of this i will take great pleasure in handing our notice in and giving them only 1 month to find replacement tenants Mwahahahaha. Sorry Lol i'm not bitter...honest!
  • Hi all apologies for posting and running earlier. Unfortunately I collapsed at home and ended up in an ambulance being rushed to hospital. They're keeping me in for a couple of days, they think it could be dehydration, an ear infection, and baby sitting on a blood vessel which is causing the dizziness and lightheadedness (which I'm still getting several hours later) so they have been monitoring me and baby. Baby is thankfully fine, it's just me they have to sort out now. Done lots of tests and more due tomorrow. Bit depressing really as it's the first time in ages I've not been with my OH overnight and it's a bit upsetting. Just lying here on the ward in the dark deciding to come on here for a bit of company instead. Sorry as I haven't read back over the last couple of pages but thanks for anyone who offered advice to my post this morning as I'm sure you all did. I'll read back tomorrow morning, just so exhausted right now I am going to try and get some sleep.

Hope everyone else is well xxx

Hope you are on the mend now and can go home soon!

  • Samtoby hope your tests today go as well as they can and that everything is ok. Think I was hooked up to the ECG by the paramedic in the ambulance at about 1pm ish but yesterday was all a bit of a blur to be honest :(

Thanks all for your concern, I've never felt violent thoughts towards another pregnant lady but had plenty throughout last night! They just would not shut up!! And this morning they are all on their phones to their breadbins and baby daddy's moaning about how tired they are....well duh!!!! Bloody chavs.

Birdie I hope things move along soon for you!!

I look to remain in the hospital for at least today. God knows when they will release me. My bloods came back low in a few things (haemoglobin and a couple of other things that I can't pronounce) and I'm still dehydrated. They are sending an ENT specialist at some point today to check my ears for signs of abnormality. At this point I just want them to find something so they can treat me/give me something and send me home. So done with this place!!!
